  1. Yes, my transcript has not appeared on the IRS website yet- So I may just have to submit the return as well as the joint sponsor.
  2. Here it is, We are finally at the NVC stage and gathering the documents. For our joint sponsor, I have a list of items that he will need along with the I864. Files jointly with spouse, who also works- So she will need the I864a, correct? W2s or 1099s latest tax return or transcript Proof of Citizenship for both Proof of assets? Is there anything I am missing? Thank you!
  3. There should be no problem with marriages that occur here in Central America, considering the ridiculous process you have to go through to get married here. As someone mentioned, they may need a apostilled certificate, or wait for her green card. Honestly sounds like you talked to someone who doesn't know what they are doing.
  4. Took Mine 15 1/2 Months. No, I did not file K3 it does nothing to speed up the process except clog USCIS with more paperwork, being it is an obsolete visa.
  5. I kept on adding documents until I was approved. In the end, I had a total of 43. By the the time they looked at my case it took less than an hour to get the approval letter,
  6. I am currently Foreign Earned Income so I don't have any taxes.
  7. I have always filed "Married Filing Separately" until my husband has a SSN.
  8. They are doing it here in Honduras as well, and it has helped a great deal with visa processing, and keeping people out of administrative processing.
  9. Mine said 19 months the day it was approved... 🤣
  10. I gave up on Lawfully months ago. I actually only use it for the community.
  11. That is a great idea. We hit our anniversary during our wait- we were already married over a year after filing- it was a sudden decision to move to the US when we filed.
  12. Many of us who are waiting for our I130's to be processed have suddenly noticed a change in focus being on I 130's more. They also flew threw October and November cases. I did notice a lot more warnings and notices on USCIS social media/website as well. But I think that just proves where this administration's focus really is, and that is a good thing!
  13. I think it will! How long will your husband's wait be at the Embassy in Germany?
  14. This is understandable in some cases. I however know of one couple that were pastors here in Honduras, ran a church, and suddenly decided one day they were going to use their visitor visas to immigrate to the U.S. They literally said to another pastor of the church, "here are the keys we are moving to the U.S." And off they went to their daughter who lives there illegally....
  15. And the queues would not be as long if people would stop this nonsense. The same people processing AOS and other forms related are the same people who process the I130's. Don't even get me started on this K3 nonsense, which also clogs the system...
  16. I know of a few people that have entered and immediately did AOS. More people come in with the intent than we know. I see people complain about lawfully all the time.... "Why is my case taking so long?" People ask, "Why is every other person's case being processed faster than mine?" I know as soon as I read these comments, what is going on USCIS suspects fraud and they are digging deep. This is why some people wait 3, 4 years or even longer for their paperwork.
  17. I have to agree- this is something I know USAID could have been doing here in Honduras, especially for the people who planned on legally immigrating. Working WITH the embassy, as they should have been all along instead of partaking in other senseless things that this conservative government here never wanted. Instead of our government paying for it, this is a great way for Americans to offer English teaching services and create jobs in the long run.
  18. Thank you! This is great news!
  19. Hello! I saw a November 30th approval yesterday! I think they will start on December by the end of this week! 😄
  20. Hello- we have not traveled yet. We are making plans for this summer.
  21. Not a good thing considering most of it was illegal. LEGAL Immigration is always a good thing. They are not processing legal cases that quickly. Fertility is a huge issue in the States right now, and something to be addressed.
  22. Courthouse and then a ceremony. I got married in Honduras where you are required to do the Courthouse wedding first. A week later we had a religious ceremony with his family and friends. The following summer both of us traveled to the US to have a ceremony for my family and friends. and yes I have 3 wedding dresses 😆, You to have to keep it small. We also did Zoom links for both religious ceremonies.
