  1. I have never said that I have a 'right to a visa' and can start a topic which I feel requires attention. It is perfectly normal for me to 'complain' if I feel that I am unfairly treated because of bureaucratic processes causing undue delays.
  2. The waiting time for us visa is 2 years which is unreasonably long and unjustified no matter what the reason. This shows that processing time is extremely slow as compared to other consulates which I have applied to. As a visa applicant I have every right to complain about their 'slow' processing time. Besides this the scheduling system does not give the option to re-schedule appointment.
  3. I have never said that 'I don't feel like waiting' , but the time period is highly unreasonable. Waiting 2 years for visit visa is very long as compared to other countries which we have applied for. The maximum they took was a month.
  4. We applied in April 2024 and right now getting the date of May 2026 for interview. Permanent resident of Canada of Pak origin. We just wanted to visit Buffalo USA. There is no particular rush to get the visa but waiting 2 years just to get a visit visa is a bit long.
  5. Hi We applied for US visit here in Toronto, but there is a long waiting list ( almost 2 years!). Is there a way to shorten the wait time? We have tried to re-schedule, but system is not giving us any options. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
  6. In the DS-160 visa application under security and background information. There is this question, how to answer this: Have you ever been the subject of a removal or deportation hearing?
  7. She came to Canada under spousal category. She received a deportation order from Canada her ex-husband reported her and caused her immigration status to be revoked. It was given about 10 years ago. She is originally from South Asia. Currently, she holds permanent residency in Canada.
  8. Hi My friend wants to visit the USA from Canada. In the past, she had some immigration issues but was never deported; she just received an exclusion order. After some time, she managed to regain her permanent resident status. How should she respond to the questions on the US visa application? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you
