This is applicable to anyone who would file the N400 application starting from Apr 1st 2024. I believe your wife had filed it before this date , hence this rule was not implemented and you had the option to enter those spouse details. In the new online form right now, there is no way to enter the spouse details, if you are filing in "General Provision" eligiblity option. If anyone seeing different from what i experienced, pls let me know. Thank you./

Just now checked the paper version of the form in USCIS site and i see the note stating that the "Your Current Marriage" and "Information about your Marital History" needs to be filled in only if the reason for filing (basis of eligibility) is any of the below seleced option only: Spouse of a U.S. citizen Spouse of U.S. citizen in qualified employment outside the United States I am filing under "General Provision" eligibility, hence the above 2 are skipped and takes me to Children direclty. So, it is working as designed. In the previoius version of the form, i entered all the spouse details. I was hoping that putting my Spouse's detail would help in getting us the same day biometrics and interview appts, though i understand interview is seperate for each for us. But atleast we can go together and get it done. I guess i have to submit with the hope that we get the appts on the same day or i can try requesting them once the case is filed. Thank you all.

I am trying to complete the online version of the new N400 application today and i have the following question. Appreciate any inputs. I do not see the Current Spouse details under "Your Family" section, which was available in the previous version of the online form. Currently, i see only the below under "Your Family" Martial Status and Children. Is it a issue in the online version of the form that this detail is missing or it is something at my browser that it prevents from showing up or the new form do not have the spouse page details? When i go to the "Additional Information" , select "Add a response", selected the section "Your Family" and then i do see a page "Current Spouse" showing up, where there are all questions related the current spouse, Wondering anybody has this issue in the new form or it is only me who has this issue.. Please note i did enter "1" in the question - "How many times have you been married?" and clicked on "Next" , i get to the "Childrens" section, But there is no page for entering the spouse details... Attached the relevant screenshot of the respective section for your reference. Appreciate any help in this regard?
