  1. Hello I'm under the SD category, I was DQed on the first of April 2024 and still haven't received an interview letter. I was advised by the embassy in Beirut to try to transfer my case to another embassy because they are prioritizing the visas related to family members due to the war in Lebanon. My lawyer asked to transfer the case to Turkey or Jordan, because these countries do not require Lebanese citizens to acquire a visa to visit them. They accepted the transfer request but they transferred my case to Poland! Getting a visa to go there and staying there for the medical examination and the interview will be very hard for me. Any suggestions? Thank you

  3. Thank you! I was looking here: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-statistics/immigrant-visa-statistics/monthly-immigrant-visa-issuances.html I couldn't find any SD1 or SR1 issued My PD was October 2020, and I received an email 6 weeks ago saying I'm DQ'd, now waiting for the interview from Beirut's embassy in Lebanon. I looked up the deadline you are mentioning, is it what they call the sunset date? Obviously things don't go quickly here in Beirut. Don't they extend this deadline each year? What happens if the deadline comes before getting the visa?

  5. Hello there From what I'm seeing in the immigration visa statistics, it's been almost 4 years since any religious worker immigrant visa has been issued, whether it was SD1 or SR1. Does anyone have any idea about this? I applied on October 2020 and was DQ'd on April 1st. Now waiting for the Interview Letter. Thank you
