  1. Thanks everyone! I think it is very unlikely that I'll be able to complete the course before I head over there, but I will certainly be getting the first Hep B shot during my medical, as that sounds like the most straightforward route. Thanks again.
  2. Ok, thanks. So the best option would be to get the first shot during the medical and then get the remaining shots when in the US (if at all)? If I get the remaining shots in the US, I won't need to go through the Civil Surgeon process, as it already shows the first shot was given during the K1 medical and that medical is valid for 1 year and will also be used for the AOS?
  3. Hello, I know that there have been a few discussions on this but I have found it tricky to find a definitive answer. I am currently awaiting my K1 Visa, (UK to US) I haven't schedule my medical exam or had my interview scheduled yet, estimating that I-129F will be approved in June 2024. I have already requested and received my vaccine records, it seems I have everything I need other than the Hepatitis B vaccination. My questions are, should I: A. Get my first shot now, ahead of my medical? (I am travelling to the US to visit for 2 months next week, so I won't be able to get my second until I return in late June). B. Wait until my medical and get the first shot then? (It is then unlikely that I'll be able to get the second or third shot until I'm in the US, does this matter?). C. If I get my first shot at the medical, is this record used for the AOS process once we are married? i.e, would I actually need to get the second and third shot when in the US, or is the first shot given at the medical in the UK enough for the AOS? I hope that is clear! Thanks a lot
