If you did your medical at the IHCH, you can e-mail them and they will send you the DS-3025 to you digitally. That's what I did for mine.

Seeing this late, I had the same!
I am currently in the states and it now definitely shows my admission and that I entered on a K1! 😁

Your question is already been answered, I just hope this input helps reducing the stress it may have caused 🤭

    Good luck! 😃

I94 only shows current/ last entry info. Travel history shows a list. You need the former, not the latter.

I'll refrain until 10 to 14 days has passed from your K1 entry and you've entered every combination possible of your name from your passport/ visa to be concerned. Looking now has no relevance.

Okay cool, That calms my nerves a bit

Also, Is there any dress code i have to keep in mind?
Im so stuck on what to wear. Ive seen online Business casual is recommended, but i dont have anything that fits the style.
Like, Jeans be too casual because they look faded and the 1 business dress i do have may be too businessy, too uptight.
If i arrive as 'Just me' The dress code is gonna be sweatpants and a tshirt.😂 Send Help!

Ehm... i am not fully sure about what you mean with Document Qualified. i took all my documents to the interview.🤔

If you mean after i had sent the DS-160 Confirmation page and they replied to that: The earliest option i got for the interview was only 6 days later!
I chose to push it back a bit, and made an appointment for 6 weeks later, as this was more convenient for my situation.😁

I was reaching out to them because my interview date would fall a few days behind the NOA2 expiration date. The "approved K1 petition" is the NOA2 and that is good for 4 months. It's 6 month from the medical exam date that your K1 visa is valid.

So I think its is not necessarily automatically extended. Probably will be in most cases, but I wanted to make sure.

in the meantime, ive had my interview and it got approved as well. it felt like a narrow escape back then and i was very nervous for everything, but everything was wrapped up well in time!
Visa is Issued and it is valid until December 7th, which is 6 months after my medical.
In this case its the Approved Petition (I-129F) that is valid for 4 months in which you have to get ready and plan and attend the interview.
I think i understood what you were trying to share, but the details were a bit off

    Also:
The NOA2 being Automatically extended was hard to believe for me, by the way, since i got multiple answers on this question elsewhere as well.
I think Mixel made a good call to reach out and ask. The answer shows that the consulate has indeed a requirement (a new letter) to extend it, which means its is not fully automatic.
At least it dont seem that way for Frankfurt. I dont know about other consulates though

Did they not bring you to one of those rooms in the back? what's it called...Secundary? I've read storier of people who had to wait there for like 2 hours before anyone got to them 😱

Also: The CBP officer has to put in that info About entering on a K1 right? That's just something i'd need to check later?
Because the I94 is electronic and Phones at the customs area are not allowed, so i can not check it right away.🤔

😬Not knowing the situation is what makes me nervous the most🤣 At least the airport is familiar
I've always traveled over Atlanta and the last time the guy didn't even look at my passport. Face recognition was sufficient apparently 🤣
I had a cheaper option when it came to tickets, but i paid more so i could fly over Altanta again, so i'd have at least something familiar upon arriving 😂
Not having to figure out where to go and how tot get there at an unfamiliar airport on top on being nervous on being there on a K1 is helpful 🤭

I have a connecting flight. and i made sure to book extra time for the lay over. 5 hours is enough yes? (well 4 hours and 51 minutes, but you get the point)

I also did the K1 visa and everything was very easy at the airport✈️

Go to the visitor´s line and when you are with the CBP officer just tell them that you are entering with a K1 visa, give them your passport and the K1 visa packet✅

They will open the packet to see the documents, see your passport, stamp it (near the visa page) and maybe ask you when you get married or something similar🛂

That was my experience, very smooth. I know you are worried (I also was) but believe me, its going to be ok♥️

Make sure your I94 says you entered as a K1 visa🚨

I believe it is just like a normal trip to the US, your K1 Visa in your passport is proof of your permission to enter on a one-way ticket.  I am also 99% sure you will not enter in the US Citizen line as you need to be properly inspected and admitted into the US. They usually have the USC line moving faster since they don't have to ask the same questions.

That packet is 'the' copy of your USCIS file, and I believe it would have anything they need. At least that is what I found in my research.

    Thank you!

Ill make sure to show the Visa page when checking in, and to ask where to go stand in line at arrival.

I was expecting the K1 having a document number i had to enter when booking. But there was no options for that, nor a box to give extra info from my side.
What you say makes sense now, haha. i gotta chill🤣

Lol, yeah everything fine so far!
Booked my flight, made some arrangement, canceling subscription..  there's a lot to think about in this whole process!

Currently having a crisis packing, I don't want to bring any more than 2 checked suitcases because of the expenses, but I keep selecting way too much to pack!

As for moving any furniture and such, I just won't. My roommate is staying in the house we have, and said I can leave things behind and use the house as free storage 🤣

When I have my greencard and when I'm allowed to travel, I'll just go back with empty suitcases and stuff them again with stuff I left behind because I didn't immediately need them.
If not... oh well. It's just stuff anyway. Everything is replaceable and nothing is that important I absolutely cannot go without.

Both my fiance and me are super excited since there's only 3 weeks left before I go! 😃 it's been such a long wait and it seemed endless, and now time goes by so fast I fear I won't be ready 🤣🤣 does it make sense?
I mean, I also still work full time 🥵 I only have the weekends and those are claimed by my fiance 😂😂

Beside all that, we are both beyond happy 🥰

I'll update more later, I live sharing my story here in hopes anyone may be helped by it during their own process. These moods are all a part of it 😂

That is absolutely false.  Please stop spreading dangerous misinformation.... Being an "immediate relative", in itself, confers no immigration rights or right to remain in the US.

I will add my two cents.  The K1 visa is a non-immigrant visa.  Immigrant visas are treated differently and more strict.  K1 visa must be vaccinated before AOS.  I have read on this and other forums where the foreign bride waited for several months to get the 3rd and final shot of HEP B.  This was well after the expiration of the 90 marriage requirement.

On another board there was a lady from SE Asia (Thailand I think) that did not have any vaccinations and she was approved for the K1 non immigrant visa.  She got the first jab during her first week here and got the 3rd jab 6 months later.  Then she filed for AOS and there was no problems. As we discussed in another thread, AOS is required 2 years after a K1 marriage so that is a lot of time to get caught up.  https://www.uscis.gov/policy-manual/volume-8-part-b-chapter-9

This clearly states that immigrants and non immigrants applying for AOS (K1, K3) need to be vaccinated for diseases including Hep B.

The doctor at the medical told me that if you ever had the shots, youre fine, though you need to proof you had them.
they were not in the list of vaccines ive had as a child, since they are not a part of the immunization program in the netherlands. so for me it was clear i never had them before.

The Tetanus shot (or DKTP) is the one that needs to be renewed when older than 10 years.

Im going to keep this generic.

Translation is needed for the following Documents:

Birthcertificate, if not in Consulate Native Language
Divorce or Death certificate from Former spouse , if applicable and if not in Consulate Native Language
Police Report, of ALL countries where the applicant has lived after age 16, for longer than 6 months. They then all need to be translated to either english or consulate native language.
Military Report, if applicable and if not in consulate native language
Criminal record/ Court records, if applicable and if not in condsulate native language.

Also: ALL Evidence an applicant would like to submit which is not in English or Consulate Native language, needs to be translated as well.

    Next not so generic:
Please stay kind to the people who are trying to help you out. Otherwise they might just leave you to figure it out on your own.

    Good Luck!

I think I received three of them during the years I was a greencard holder, and have received one since becoming a citizen. It's super easy here in California, I just go online and fill out the questionnaire that decides if I'm eligible for jury duty or not. When answering "no" on the question about being a citizen, I was automatically disqualified and there was nothing else that needed to be done. Smooth and easy.
