  1. I just replied to your message! ๐Ÿ˜Š I didnt see it until now, sorry to have you waiting!๐Ÿ™ˆ
  2. USCIS are the ones approving or Rejecting/Refusing the Petition. Reading this it looks to me like they are reviewing the additional evidence you send in. Give it a bit more time and maybe the case status changes soon to approved I never got an RFE, so im sorry, i cannot tell for sure. But to me this timeline looks like they are still actively working on it.
  3. This is probably what happened. It is so close together, he picked the big city. However i am still stunned that one does not know where he was born!๐Ÿ˜‚ I blame his ADHD ๐Ÿ˜œ He is stationed and living in Jacksonville, Florida. So its not like its a quick trip to the courthouse for him ๐Ÿ˜ฌ it is what it is i guess. If it comes up during my interview i know what to say and how to explain. With that, he promised to write a short statement on his mistake for me to bring to the interview plus we will bring printed screenshots of conversations about this with each other and him with his mother. The BC is on its way, but by the time he will be able to send it its christmas ๐Ÿคจ Lets hope the officer that interviews me has a good mood๐Ÿ™ˆ
  4. I understand, we both have been married before, both divorced. I checked the letter I got from the consulate, and it does only request mine. Obviously, we did both submit our divorce certificates/decrees for the petition. I asked my fiance for it anyway, it's always better to be overprepared than to be underprepared๐Ÿ™‚
  5. Wait... both our divorce certificates/decrees? The letter from consulate only mentions mine ๐Ÿค” Ill ask my fiance for his then, better to have it and it not needing it, than needing it and not having it
  6. He just send me the confirmation page of his order, it literally says 3 to 6 months (i said 8, my bad) And the estimated delivery is going to be somewhere between august and november... ๐Ÿ˜ณ Holy moly! I need to prepare for long waiting times for anything in the US i feel๐Ÿ™ˆ im not used tot that at all!๐Ÿ˜‚
  7. His birth certificate will not arrive in time, we fear. He has already requested one about 4 weeks ago, so maybe, just maybe he will get it in time but we dont think so. He will now provide the textmessages he send to his mother to ask about it and the answer he got, and i will print the chatlogs of him and me talking about this mistake. He honestly thought it was Springfield. If they indeed do want to see the certificate, i hope the just put our case in the administrative processing until it arrived and i was able to send it in. This would just be another delay like we have had many already.๐Ÿ˜…
  8. He submitted a copy of his passport with the petition and submitted Springfield at the place of birth question. When he started filing the i-134, he said he needed to ask his mom what city he was born in because he wasnt sure and that he had brought it down to 2 options, Springfield and Decatur. I then send him a picture of the place of birth he filed in the petition, which is springfield and He never mentioned it again. Today i received the i-134 per mail and it said decatur, so ... if that whats his mom said then i believe that to be true. I couldn't care less where he was born to be honest, his passport says Illinois and both cities are Illinois. I just hope it not going to be a problem during my interview And indeed, our case was approved without RFE. am i worrying too much or is he not worrying enough?๐Ÿ˜‚
  9. He requested a copy of his birth certificate, but it gonna take 3 to 8 months?... Im very confused by the amount of time this takes since in the netherlands i had a copy of mine within a week ๐Ÿ˜… I dont think the consulate is going to overlook this one...
  10. My US fiancรฉ filed his place of birth on the petition as Springfield, now i received the i-134 bij mail, and he Filed Decatur there... We are screwed arent we?
  11. I'll surely add a review when ive had my interview! All details i can give could potentially help other prepare for everything So far i am happy they respond quickly to email, as long as you put the right thing in the subject line
  12. Hi, Have you read the entire thread? If you are in the K1 process, you will not receive the NVC welcome letter, but an email instead notifying you of the case being send to te consulate I did not get this one personally, but my US fiancรฉ got it in his inbox. I do not know if the next is consulate specific, but: I received the email to schedule my appointment 2 days after paying the fee AND emailed them the confirmation page of the DS-160. (Frankfurt, Germany) Check your spamfolder too, thats where mine ended up when i got it. You might want to look into what the consulate specific instructions are. This is also found in Packet 3, the information the consulate will send to the beneficiaries home address.
  13. I also just received the mail to go ahead and schedule my interview! I'll stop stressing now ๐Ÿ˜‚ Thank you so much for your help!
  14. I'm in doubt. The instructions in the checklist say to submit DS-160, pay the visa fee and email the confirmation page. Do they mean the confirmation page of the DS-160 or the payment of the visa fee? or both?
  15. I JUST RECEIVED PACKET 3 BY EMAIL!! I feel so relieved i could cry! ๐Ÿ˜‚
  16. Allright. I need to step away from this for today, or until i finally get in touch with consulate๐Ÿซฃ I retraced my steps of what I did yesterday when I paid the fee, and now a screen popped up.... I missed this Yesterday or I forgot about it this morning. Either way, I will wait for the response from the consulate.๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ
  17. It's back, must have been successful then.๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ I'm sure I'm too impatient or too exited or both ๐Ÿ™ˆ I'm on pins and needles here and I'm driving myself nuts, clearly ๐Ÿ˜‚
  18. .... Now this is gone again... I understand nothin anymore. It did show the fee. and now that box is empty. I hope nothing went wrong with payment
  19. I have another question... I've paid the Fee and send the consulate the confirmation page of my DS160 by email. That is all I was supposed to do after receiving packet 3, correct? ๐Ÿค” On the website where the payment methods were explained it said I would be able to schedule an appointment directly after paying the fee when I used the Online Payment by Debit Card. But...Where? How? It never directed me to a page where to do this. Now when I login at USTravelDocs, it does indeeed show the $265 fee i paid which was at 0 before, if i remember correctly. I also had the payment acceptance - receipt + receiptnumber. I took a screenshot of this on my phone and I downloaded the PDF so I can print it when im at work. Is this the part where I wait for the P4 email and will I be able to schedule the appointment after? ๐Ÿ™ˆ I did get an automated Email so they have received it. So far they also never even replied to inquiries, so i lost my trust there...๐Ÿคจ I've been reading so much information yet i feel completely clueless. I think I confused myself.๐Ÿฅด I just need the "Sit down and listen: Do this, and do it in this order!" version.๐Ÿ˜‚
  20. Oh my, you typed all of that out? ๐Ÿ˜ฑ I copy pasted it, and will use it as a layout for listing my addresses. I'm also happy that has to be brought to interview, instead of having to send it somewhere ๐Ÿ˜‚ Thank you so so much for your help again!๐Ÿ˜Š time to calm my nerves so i will be able to sleep tonight ๐Ÿ˜‚
  21. Okay, Fee paid and DS-160 mailed! Let's see how it goes from here ๐Ÿ˜…
  22. Thank you again! This form to fill out addresses since age 16, is this personalized? Like does it have personal info on it already so that it cannot be found online?
  23. I have indeed looked in the consulate info on this website, but the included links to websites aren't working. Apparently a form is Included to list your addresses since age 16? Also a form is included to request your appointment? Can I download this somewhere? Of all mail of course packet 3 had to get lost ๐Ÿ™„ I don't know if I should feel sad or angry or both, but I do know it don't help me, that's why I come here๐Ÿคญ
  24. My mail sadly still has not arrived and the consulate has not (yet) responded to my questions. I went ahead and signed and submitted the DS-160. I have looked online for the list of required documents to take with me to the interview, but I have found 2 different ones, both from the consulate in Frankfurt, but different dates on which they were issued (2021 and 2022) they both give different information! ๐Ÿฅด Assuming the one from 2021 is no longer used when the one from 2022 was made, I'd say stick to that info, however ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜… what if they since then made a new one?? Does anyone know what the consulate specific instructions are for Frankfurt these days? Does anyone here know if I do need to email this confirmation page to the consulate? If so, what do I put in the subject line? In the 2022 letter it says I22 - and then the FRN casenumber. Is it now I24 because it's the year 2024?๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜… At this point I stopped hoping my packet 3 will just arrive late, I have accepted I will not get it at all. ๐Ÿ˜• this is not a full stop to the process... just more hoops to jump to get where I wanna be. Please, anyone. Help.
  25. Alright, so that means that form, letter, whatever it was that needs to be taken to interview is packet 4, which I already learned is going to be an E-mail. ๐Ÿค” Here's hoping my mail gets delivered tomorrow or Tuesday. The list of what needs to be collected I already found. I'm nervous and sad ๐Ÿคฃ I wanted that letter!! Thanks again for your information
