How quickly did you get the visa issued right after the medical?

Did you get any new updates?

Right. They already have our passport now and now waiting for medicals report to be delivered. I hope we get the visa issued in a week or so. Can’t wait to get back home.. thanks for all the prayers and guidance all the way till now…

Yes - we were asked to do medical and submit our passport. We did this last Wednesday. Fingers crossed 🤞.

Thursday was off so if you haven’t got it issued yet, you should get it by Monday for sure. Keep us posted.

We already had our interview and were 110% honest in our answers. Just now waiting for further instructions from them..

Didn’t think it will take that long. I even bought her ticket to fly out right after her interview. Yup more delays for a reason we didn’t have control over…

Thanks for asking. Yes, we had our interview yesterday. It was a stokes interview. We were put in two different rooms and were asked similar very specific questions for two hours by two different officers. Those questions, I think only a real husband and wife could answer. I believed our answered 100% matched but at the end they had concern about her UK visit visa and raised concern about the length of amount she stayed in UK while waiting for her visa process. We were honest and told them that US embassy had her passport. She couldn’t travel. Whatever happened was beyond our control. They said we would draft a report and send our findings to the adjudicating officer and you will hear whatever the decision is by email. They said, No time frame so it could take any amount of time to hear back from us . So there we go, We are in limbo again 😢

Can you tell me what kind of questions were asked? Were you both in the same room?

I think they were confused about my trips timeline. I believe, She couldn’t outline them properly for them. Also, she had interpreter so not sure things were translated properly… Yup. Thanks. Though we still have expired medical 😅.

All my trips itinerary, bank statements, credit card statements, over 100 pages of communication between us, over 100 photos together… One thing I did miss giving them is she had miscarriage twice. So this time, I will take it with me…

What is Stokes interview? And what question we should prepare? This will be my 9th trip to visit her yet they have doubts. I can’t believe it. Anyway. Will see.

On the 18th. Luckily I was flying in this weekend so I will be there right on time. However they have given me the option to be on the phone. I told them I would like to come in person.

We just got an email to come in for in person interview - both of us. Is it common?

My wife have been there since Jan 2024. This other couple, the husband just moved in Sept. got his interview on Dec 2nd, got AP to submit his old expired passport copy by email and when he did, the next day he got approved. But you are right. There may be something specific about our case. But in anyway, I hope when we hear, it’s a good news than a bad news. Not looking for a bad news after waiting all those years.

You are right but I think it’s also luck. A Pakistani couple had their interview on Dec 2nd and he got the visa email on Dec 3rd. Just in one day.

Nope, nothing. They have been making updates to online status for last three days but no email for us. Last update they made was today. Medical already expired. Thoughts?
