    Shouldn’t stay on administrative processing for long. You should have the visa issued by now

    It takes two weeks from the date of the receipt of medical to review and approve. That’s what happened in my case..

    Yes she received her passport on Tuesday evening. So much relieved. We are all packed up and ready to leave. Thank you very much for all the help. It appears the visa was issued on Friday but we got the issue notification on Monday.

    You shouldn’t take more than two weeks before the visa is issued. Stay patient…

    @Moda25 @appleblossom Good News. My wife got her visa issued today after 3.5 years of beating, two miscarriages, two medicals, two interviews ( including the stroke’s interview), and thousands of dollars spent. Tracking says we will receive her passport today. Thank you very much both of you for guidance and mental stroking all that time. We will both be flying together now on Saturday straight to Arizona… Can’t wait to get home…

    What does “Case Last Updated:” date showing? I have been reading lot of forums. Most people status changes from approved to issued the very next day but if there is an issue in printing, adjudicating officer has to look at it again in couple weeks before it prints. The most I think it will take two weeks for you..

    @Moda25 @appleblossom Our status continued to be administrative processing. Are there instances where they can take more than a business days to issue a visa?

    If that’s the case, then it’s just a matter of few days before it gets issued.

    I think the non immigrant visa does not get the issued status. They get approved status and receive their passport in the mail. I would again highly recommend to check with the mailing agency to track the passport…

    Mine changed to administrative processing today so it will be first changed to approved and then issued? Someone people said their changed directly from administrative processing to issued.
