    Thanks. is it normal to take one year for AP? If WOM is filed before one year, what happens? Does it get dismissed by the court?

    Still nothing from London Embassy. The last email they sent was about they are doing some checks and that’s all. We have been waiting for almost for 4 months now. Is there anything you recommend us doing that you guys did to help expedite your case? Senators and congressman of no help at all. They get a candid reply as well from embassies. Had you consider filing a mandamus lawsuit?

    Congratulations. All the best. Please make sure to take all the proof of relationship there.. 1- pictures together 2- conversation screen shots 3- proof of any financial transactions ever happened between you guys 4- petitioner traveling history to visit spouse or vice versa..

    Woww - It’s impressive you still remember all these dates. Thanks for explaining all that. I guess we will patiently wait till we hear back from them. Most of my friends are kicking me for requesting the passport back from them but I knew your case so I wanted my wife to have her passport in case she needs it to travel or for any other reasons. Also she may need it for her medical as well in case she has to redo. That’s the only ID they accept or valid UK driving license which she does not have…

    Thanks for a quick response. It’s very frustrating for sure. One last question. How quickly did they issue the visa right after his second medical exam? Ours will expire in Nov and we are nervous about it? Also, did they ever ask for his continued legal status in UK?

    It has been almost 3 months since her interview and no news from the embassy for my wife. Today I finally requested them to send us back my wife passport to which they said they will send it back and will require it back when all the necessary checks are completed. Do you think it was a good idea to get the passport back? I hope they don’t delay it because now they don’t have the passport?

    No I meant if he is originally from UK.

    Yes, you can always extend your interview date even if you get the interview in Sept or Oct. But for sure, November is most likely on the cards.. Many congrats. Is your husband UK citizen?

    It takes 2 to 4 months to get to your interview…

    It depends if you are told that your visa is approved. If after the interview, your case is pending review, there is no timeframe….
