    Yeah. I sent an email to the embassy two weeks after the interview. They replied that the case is undergoing necessary administrative processing after three days. I have not received an update since.

    No, the status has to be changed to “Issued” and they should call you in order to collect the passport.

    Same here. I had my interview on March 19th at the Colombo embassy and got 221g blue form (they didn’t ask me for any additional documents). However, my CEAC status says “Ready” since the day of the interview.

    I just want to know if anyone else has been through this situation. I had my IR1 interview almost 2 weeks ago. However, after the interview the consular officer gave me a 221g blue slip marked with no action or additional documentation required. Since then, the status has remained as 'Ready,' with only the date being updated. They kept my passport and the civil documents. Questions, What will be the CEAC status after this? When should I contact the embassy and find out the status of my visa?
