  1. Thanks for the confirmations @S2N and @pushbrk!
  2. In case I add unsolicited evidence, doesn't it hint the USCIS that the petition is either still incomplete or still in progress or maybe has some missing info and that's why we still add new evidence, and thus the USCIS thinks it's better to give us more time and increases the case processing time?
  3. Thanks for the advice! I didn't realize but I agree that CRBA would be stronger evidence than the birth certificate.
  4. Oh that's right! Thanks a lot @From_CAN_2_US!
  5. Thanks a lot @wildbug100420! Hope to hear from others too.
  6. Should we add the baby's birth certificate now as an unsolicited evidence?
  7. So no need to update the I-130 application at the moment? Btw is there actually a way to update it in general?
  8. Yes the baby qualifies for CRBA, we'll do CRBA for the baby. But what next? How shall we add the information about the baby for the USCIS? Or shall we not add anything at this stage? When is the right time to provide the info about the baby?
  9. Hi everyone, My husband is the petitioner who is a US citizen, and he filed the I-130 application for me last year. Our baby was born after the I-130 was filed so we hadn't included our baby related information in the application. The I-130 is still pending. I wonder HOW we should let the USCIS know about our newborn baby, or WHERE shall we add information about the baby, and at WHAT STAGE exactly? Can we update the existing I-130 application, or shall we let them know during the interview stage? Thanks a lot in advance!
  10. Thank you so much! And there is no 90 day rule for getting married in this case right? (when I plan to go back to my country)
  11. Whenever I came to the US, I have always been asked what the purpose of my visit is. So basically if I am being asked that question at the border, and I tell them that "I wanna visit my boyfriend" (only visit), but I also marry during my visit, and start the CR1 process after I return to my country, it all will cause an issue for the marriage visa process or at the border again when I want to visit on a tourist visa again while my CR1 is pending?
  12. Okay so if I am asked what is the purpose of my visit, what should I tell them? (in case I want to get married and come back to my country and start the CR1/IR1 process?
  13. No I don't mean bringing a wedding dress, but I mean getting a marriage certificate when I say get married. But if I enter the US with the intention of getting married there and then returning to my country, what should I tell the CBP?
  14. Also, is it allowed to get married in the US on a tourist visa, and then come back to Armenia and start the process of CR-1/IR-1? Wouldn't it be an issue?
  15. Do you know if it takes that long is bacause of the backlog from covid, or regardless?
  16. Do you know how long it takes to get CR-1/IR-1 these days?
  17. Hello! Does anyone know: 1. How the consulate determines which visa you need CR-1 or IR-1? I know the conditions for each, but I wonder how they decide which visa to grant? Do they count the time from your official marriage until the day when you enter the US, or until your interview date at the consulate? For example, it might be that it's still 1 year and 9 months have passed since my marriage, but because after the interview you get 6 months period of time during which you can go to the US, within those 6 months my marriage will reach 2 years already. So in that case what visa will I be granted - CR-1 or IR-1? 2. Am I allowed to travel on my B2/B1 visa to see my husband while my spouse visa (either CR-1 or IR-1) is pending? What shall I tell at the border when I enter the US? thank you so much!!!
