Green card received today 02/29! In a USPS priority mailer, got a text and email at 10 tonight saying USPS confirms delivery. Parts of the new card is actually green!
-
Well no approval notice in the mail yet as of today but I received first text message and email around noon on the 23rd of February. Got a 2nd text and email for card production at 1:00 a.m Central time on the 24th.
Today received two text messages and two emails. First one this afternoon saying they have mailed new card. Just after 6pm received another saying USPS picked up letter containing new card. Last email says should get the card within 7 days. Woot!
I don't know if there is a pattern for csc and those who signed up for case updates via text and email but thought. I would share.
I sincerely hope all those still waiting hear some good news soon. This has been the longest most stressful experience of them all.

Our 6 months will be on March 15th and haven't heard anything yet. We are in CSC and since the biometrics in October we haven't heard anything yet. My husband is getting anxious. Hopefully something soon.
We are feeling the same way almost exact timeline... I am very nervous and can't deal with this anxiety anymore. We are going on a cruise in April... Guess I should have known if I planned something it would actually take 6 mos or more... thought we would have been *safe*. *sigh*Not to mention hubby almost being put on deployment list.
Come on USCIS!! I hope to hear something soon even if an RFE!

Would like to be part of that 50%...............*anxiously waiting*

Driving to and from SK when I went to school in ND, my friend had to throw out her brand new bag of dog food she had bought while in canada on way back to college because it had meat in it. I had heard to truckers who had packed sandwiches with meat and had to throw out.... Ridiculousness...
When my parents came to visit me mom would make a batch of meatless cabbage rolls and put them in cooler along with perogies....mmmm
Sorry I know this is not helpful to current question, just saying.

My husband works in HR and he said that companies don't have to re verify a green card, only work permits. So they shouldn't require anything from you. If it's a new job, the expired greencard and letter should work. If you're worried, make an Infopass and get a stamp. I did because I was worried about the cruise I went on and documentation. My employer hasn't asked me for a new greencard and mine expired Nov. 9.
Thank you Sapphire for your response! Calmed my nerves a little! I've worked for this employer for a year and a half. Long story short they have high expectations above the standard for the field and my impression it's in every department, it was explained in orientation. So I guess we will see, I dont have time for an Infopass appointment honestly but if that what it comes to...

Congrats Inky!!! ))

Sent off ROC in September! I didnt think id be this nuts with the waiting... AOS was quick, im worried mine will take 6 months:( My GC expires on the 14th, a month ago i sent HR at my work a copy of my extension letter and a letter attached, I havent heard anything since but I have this feeling they will want something more than that come the day after my gc expires.
What can they do? E verify me? What if the system shows something different? All I can do is make infopass appointment for I 551 stamp? Really cannot afford a lapse in my job.
8 sept filers have already been approved....
I did not send affadavits with my package but a whole bunch of joint stuff and a pictures of us at our wedding and since then. My husband is military ive heard of people getting FBI interviews if their SO is military....
Ahhhck!!!!

Well had my bio appt yesterday @ Omaha local office. Was in and out in 10 minutes there was no one in the wait g room for fingerprints, but a whole lot of people in the other room which I'm assuming is either for court or interviews, alot of what looked to be lawyers around. Anywho a lil disappointed they could not get me in earlier in the month..., didn't look busy at all... Employees watching food network.... But don't accept walk ins....
That's my rant for today.... I hope September filets start seeing some action soon... My hopes of having new gc before this one expires are dwindling though
-
Mine also expires December 14,2011, your 90 day window is now open!!! RoC can take 6 months or longer Do not leave the country without filing or your extension letter. Some people have had issues getting a receipt letter, as long as you have filed can make an Infopass appointment for I 551 stamp for travel.
-
Got my bio notice today dated 9/26... Appointment date 10/24. So far away
-
Congratulations! Thank you for posting your interview experience!

I'm pretty sure I had to hand over my expired EAD at PoE dont remember at what point in process might have been just a visit while k-1 processing I was also F-1 visa and had EAD for OpT moved back to Canada for a year and a half.
I think when I applied for EAD for AOS I included a copy of previous card and of course what status I was, it didn't speed anything up having a previous one

Hello Bern! I remember you!

Once you receive Biometrics letter there will be a different case number on it but that one should work to check status.

Updating SSA Record after Naturalization - By Mail
in Passports, etc. - What to do now that you are a US citizen

I did this recently, was nervous about getting my Certificate of Naturalization back in a timely manner. I submitted to local office by mail and within a week they Fedex'd my Certificate back to me with confirmation it was updated. The actual new card to arrive separately.
