we havent received ours yet either… we hope to we will make the july IL for our category.

us too! we were dq’d april 24th and nothing yet. i hope our category makes the cut off next month. will be like 3 months wait for our IL of it comes through next month. but there are others dq’d before us (around the 21st, that havent gotten theirs either). so hope for the best but expect the worst! and hopefully you will be pleasantly surprised. i stupidly followed the trend of timelines since earlier this year and foolishly thought we would be moved back home by july.. or august at the latest but its looking like that is not happening. just sick over it… i hope my job will be held for me still amongst other things we have arranged for to prove the concrete steps for re-domicile…

yes thats what i meant.. my visa category got their letters on friday June 21st. so that is what all of us in that category on this forum are talking about recently.

oh okay.. i guess what i read on the nvc website was wrong when it says they do it one time per month 😕 i must be thick

oh okay i didnt know it was normal to have such a narrow dq date range when issuing IL’s for the IR/CR category and even those dq’d on the same day in the same category, both not getting an IL but only 1 of them. didnt know that was a normal pattern. waiting nearly 3 months for an IL letter… for us… didnt know that was normal 😰

just messaged someone from another thread that is ir/1 category and dq’d on april 21st.. they havent received an IL on that june 21st… so looks like nvc didnt even issue IL’s to all the 21st dq’s 🙄

Lets hope we make the next batch in July! Me and my husband were speculating and this is totally just an idea with no founded weight or accuracy to it but that being said… we were wondering if it has to do with the up and coming presidential elections in November maybe? Even thought this type of immigration is not a “complaint” , if someone has the power to ask any immgration process to slow right down it will look “good” on paper and seemingly look like immigration(which is a hot topic with negative a connotation) is getting “better” and not looking like it is an issue… I don't know… I guess at the end of the day it doesn't matter and this is a messed situation regardless as families should be able to live together in one anothers countries. I look forward to the time when our world will not have borders and be united and at peace! Sorry for every ones heartache... We will get through it! And if someone is brave enough to ask yeah would be interesting to know if there is a reason they would even share…

We didnt use a lawyer either so I get all the reading things over and over again and all the research. NVC does recommend that you wait for the medical because some people have to wait like a year or longer for an IL. But we decided to go get ours because London supposably was no longer than 3-4 months from being dq’d. At least you know your docs are in everything is qualified and now its just a matter of waiting and preparing to move as soon as you get your passport back after the interview.

Oh okay.. Well I hope that is the case. I was under the impression that visa category were issued all on the same day. So like CR1/IR1 get the IL on the same day and then like maybe a day or so later maybe a different visa category gets theirs? But I hope I'm wrong! 😆

Forgot to mention.. Its definitely one time per month. It states that on the nvc website. It says NVC works with the embassy one time per month in getting dates for immigrant visa appointments. So I for sure missed June cut off with my April 24th DQ date.

Yes your right… we just don't know and are going off of who actually reports information on these forums and even that is not a complete picture. Plus, yeah it can even change. Someone on Reddit did a IL issuing history and that was different every month and that shows its a unpredictable and changeable … this is it below Dec 13, 2023. Jan 15, 2024. Feb 12, 2024. March 4, 2024. April 25, 2024. May 27, 2024. June 21, 2024

According to years prior to up until now, they only issue 1 batch per month. Yeah you just have to do what is best for your circumstances. Never before has it taken 6 month to get an interview with London so we decided a month after we have been DQ’d it was safe to do the medical. But now… the way its been going for may and now June- only issuing IL’s with such a narrow date range and them booking the actual interview well over 5 weeks out.. Best to wait to do it. We did the medical on May 30th and they don't require an interview letter just your case number and the confirmation letter that you have been issued that approved DS 260 form (I think that's the form name).

Yes its good not to focus on it and doing things to keep busy. They do only send out letters one time per month and for June, that was this past Friday the 20th. Those that reported getting an IL, were dq’d from 18-22th of April. Which is a very narrow date range from how its been for the past 2 years. Hopefully, the IL’s to sent out for July, we will make that cut-off but can't bank on it because in May, those that got IL’s and those who didnt were dq’d on the same day! Just hope our medical doesn't expire 🤦♀️

just read on Reddit, a April 22nd dq got their IL on June 20th for a August 7th interview.. So I (dq April 24th) definitely missed the cut off for receiving a June IL 😭

According to those that report their IL’s on different forums, for IR1/CR1 category, maybe like 10ish but whose to say those that haven't joined any forums ya know? But recently, for May- only like 1 person reported getting an IL. And now for June, again only 1 person has reported getting an IL.. And both of those were DQ’d on the same day (April 18th)! Which is really troubling.. I now another member on this forum was also DQ’d on April 18th (making that 3 reported being dq’d on that day) but they haven't said if they got their letter yesterday.. I messaged them on a earlier thread so will see what they have said. But as of right now… someone DQ’d on April 21st and myself (dq’d April 24th) have not received anything. And nvc usually sends out IL’s to those that will receive one for that issuing month on the same day… so I feel so sick to think another month or longer to get an IL for me. Just cannot believe it..

I think you might be the only IL sent for June... Like it happened in May for us IR1/CR1 category... Don't know what has happened with London embassy to only be giving barely any slots for our category per month

thats what i thought… im just nervous because the other person who was dq’d on the 18th of april got their letter on april 25th and now june 20th and the other reported IL was another april 18th dq… just hope that wont be the only IL issued for june like it was last month 😰

hi! just read a april 18th DQ’d received their interview letter today for august 7th. have you received your interview letter yet?
