  1. On the receipt notice they send, on the bottom left hand side it has the address...
  2. Thank you 😊 Yes I am pretty sure I did mention everyone else on each i-130 so hopefully they will all go through together. I have 2 in Vermont, 3 Texas and 1 Nebraska. I think I will hold out hope for November! How long to interview in London from there? Some say 3 months from NVC. Need to sell the house but don't want to sell it too soon. 😕
  3. Hi UK_dreamer Congratulations on your I-130 being approved! I have 6 (yes 6 😱) I-130s on file. Spouse and 5 kids. I am the USC and we all live in England going through the London embassy - fingers crossed. According to the immigration timelines on Visa journey, Vermont (where Spouse visa is) is working on October 2023 now, which would be amazing but I assume that isn't correct 🤔 and that would mean they were running 4 months faster than Texas and Nebraska where my kid's I-130s are! I can only hope and assume we are looking at 12/13 months truthfully and not 10 months as Vermont is showing...thoughts? Also do you know if once a Spouse and father to kids' i130 is through, does it pull the kids through or are we waiting for kids to go through where they are? It's so frustrating that they have separated my whole family in different service centres 😢 Thank you 😊
  4. Hi, Does anyone else get deflated by, or even believe the emails that are sent with the estimates on by Myvisajourney? Mine are retrogressing every week! That can't be right or I'll never get to the US 😂 Last week it moved 25 days back in one week 😪. Surely they can't be accurate?
  5. You sound similar to me. We are a family of 7. How long to get your i130s all approved? Did they get approved together or not? Did you all go to the Embassy as one family on one day? Hope you don't mind me asking? 😄
  6. Hi Stephie C Can I ask did you get your IR1 and IR2's through together? I have an IR1 and several IR2s pending in various centres and hope they will all be put through together...also have you had your interview? How did it go at London?
  7. Oh wow thank you Larry207 😊 I'll look into that definitely 👍
  8. Thank you 😊 It's certainly a rough ride and thank you for the encouragement 😊
  9. Thank you for your reply and advice, unfortunately everyone seems to be following different journeys and I can't find anyone similar to me 😂 but I'll keep looking 😉
  10. That's why I am here asking for help. Does it say you can't use assets of your primary residence? I can't see it does? Do they not allow assets through the London embassy?
  11. What am I pushing? Showing the assets in a house that will more than cover 5 times the guidelines? Isn't that what I am supposed to show? Yes its my primary residence, is that not allowed either? If I sold it now yes I'd have the money but if I was called for interview within 12 months of the sale they would say the money hasn't been in there long enough? 🤔 I don't feel I can win this one. I don't want to sell up and then get a denial...
  12. From what I can tell I am not supposed to sell before the visa is in hand. Or the cash should be shown in the account for 12 months. So I was planning on selling up as soon as the visa is approved though I appreciate it's tight as I will only have then 5/6 months from approval to arrive in the US. Though we could go and leave the house empty to sell.
  13. Yes it is. Surely you can use your home, after all it will be sold anyway before I move?
  14. I can't leave my family unfortunately, I have a large family and young children so we will be going as one unit hopefully. I don't know anyone to be a sponsor so it's looking more towards the assets for me and I'll keep my fingers crossed they will work 🤞
  15. Aah OK, I understand. I would like a similar job and income in the US eventually but I will lose my current job when I leave the UK so cant use that income on the i-864. So assets or sponsor is my route is what you're saying in my position?
  16. 3 or 5 times the poverty guidelines amount I mean. Sometimes I read 3 sometimes 5 if the beneficiary owns the house too.
  17. No I don't unfortunately. We don't know anyone to ask such an important question and even if we did there are 7 of us in total (big family). I am going to go wages plus assets. I can go all assets if need be and hope they are cool with that too 😂 do you know if it has to be all assets or mixed if from the UK? 3 times or 5 times the value?
  18. Thank you, that's given me some confidence. It's so much more involved than I'd realised!
  19. Thank you for your reply. Yes I have been gathering all I can to show my intent, bank account is a tricky one as you need an address but most things I have got around. I am hoping London will see the intent and be sympathetic to my domicile issue. 😄
  20. Hi thanks for your reply. Yes and yes. I have filed 3 years and all my kids and hubby have their seperate i-130s 😁
  21. Thank you for your comment. The bank account requires an address which I don't have...catch 22 stuff...I have been out to the States in recent years but this was before serious thoughts of moving back. I might be able to sort a school place via emails/phone calls maybe. I just am hoping for some allowances due to leaving as a child and the fact I don't have an address to use.
  22. Hi I am really hoping someone can help me with this query. I am a dual USC/UKC married to a British man and have kids. We intend to move to the US, our i-130 is pending since October. On the issue of re-establishing domicile I have a dilemma. I moved to the UK as a small child with my British parents so effectively lost my domicile at that point. I lived in California but obviously can't use that address for anything to prove domicile for immigration purposes. I can show INTENT of domicile through various means, is that enough? Will the London Embasssy overlook my domicile issue as I was a child and left with my parents therefore not my choice. I can't return alone to set up a domicile as I work and look after my children here in the UK. I am stressed over this issue. 😫 thank you
  23. This is what I don't get, if you aren't in the US then surely your income here (England for me) is irrelevant anyway? I am going to try to use assets as I just have no choice and don't have a co-sponsor who will help me with a large family.
  24. Hi, I have i-130 petitions pending - 1 for my spouse and also for my children under 21. Why have they been spread between 3 different service centres (Texas, Vermont and Nebraska)? Do they hopefully approve the spouse one first and then the kids? Are they all connected under one petition? I applied for them over 2 days online. Or do they take their own individual time meaning we may have to wait for the slowest to catch up with the first? Can't seem to find information on this..thank you for reading and for any insight!
