  1. That's wonderful news, congratulations 🎊
  2. Hi, did you have an RFE or a reason for the 221g? Maybe they were waiting for you to send something and it's gone back to USCIS? Hope you get to the bottom of it!
  3. I think you should definitely visit him and his family at least once or twice before marrying and preferably marry him in person. Once your green card is sorted you can move to the US. You need to show lots of evidence of your relationship in photos and conversations to be able to push the application through. It's going to take at least 18-24 months from when you apply. Can he visit you here or is that not possible? You mentioned mobility issues. Good luck to you!
  4. I am assuming it will be 14 months ish. Boy it's dragging though πŸ˜’ I am assuming it will be 14 months ish. Boy it's dragging though πŸ˜’
  5. Hi, no not yet. I asked several places including Boots and some private London clinics and they all said The UK doesn't have the regulation to provide under 12s with covid vaccines anymore. Over 12 fine, costs about Β£95 but they said you can't get one in the UK at the moment for a child under 12. Not sure what I am gonna do...the medical may have the answer hopefully when I get to that part! πŸ˜…
  6. Thank you for your reply. I have to hope they accept the assets and keep my fingers crossed 🀞 because the joint sponsor is proving difficult to find πŸ˜’
  7. Thank you for your reply. I thought assets that were outside of the US, that belong both to the spouse as well as the USC, could be used however would be 5 times the poverty guideline?
  8. I thought it was 5 x the shortfall if both the USC and the beneficiary are outside the US and earnings are therefore $0 and using cash or assets to make up the difference? Or is that only when the assets are totally foreign based so is that why you say 3 x as your wife has it in a US account? Or assets also owned jointly with the beneficiary ie Property are 5 times.. Honest question, what if a sponsor is impossible to find? Can it be up to the Officer at the interview to accept cash assets? I am having a similar problem 😒 is it a case of no sponsor no Green Cards?
  9. Yeah mine too and I am 2 days behind you. But, there was someone on June or July filers who recently was already approved and her estimate was still saying 10 months or something πŸ€”. I take more notice of what others report on here to be honest.
  10. Uuugh yes you're probably right. Can you imagine what it will be next year! Thank goodness we are in the queue at least 😏
  11. Isn't one year and 6 weeks = 13.5 months? Not 15...just trying to be hopeful here πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚..hopefully no RFE too...some June and July filers are reporting they were 13 ish, so that would be good πŸ‘
  12. Mine's been all over the place, latest one said December 10th...which would be 14 months if it is, but hoping its sooner πŸ™ x
  13. Only for the first 7 years of my life, don't remember much unfortunately. Wanted to go back for years now but life just didn't take me down that road. Hopefully I will be back soon! I do remember Cali can get very hot πŸ”₯ but unlike the UK they have air conditioning πŸ˜‚
  14. I was born in Los Angeles πŸ˜‚
