So far no new changes . No status change and the case last updated still states May 30th. After 3 case last updates last week, nothing so far this week. It gets really disappointing. I’m hoping it issues soon.

They have updated the case last reviewed status again today. This is 3 times this week. This has never occurred before . The status has not changed . But I’m hoping next week it will.

Today the CEAC case last updated was changed to today 5/28/25 that is two consecutive days in a row after the second interview with no request of additional documents and then keeping her passport . Hopefully it is in final processing and will be issued soon.

I will keep you updated . Today the CEAC case last updated was changed to today 5/27/25. Hopefully we get some movement and change the status soon. I am hoping by this Friday or next Friday the status will change . I heard it can take 1-2 weeks after a second interview . Especially when they don’t request anything further and keep the passport . I will update as I find out .

Just an update . My fiancée went to the second interview today. They asked her a few questions about my ex wife , and her family that lives here. They then said you can go and we will contact you soon. They had her passport since November and they did not return it, they kept it. They did not ask for any more information or paperwork.

Just an update the embassy contacted us and stated they want a second interview tomorrow at Casablanca. Has anyone had a second interview? Do we bring all the same documents they requested the first time? Do you they typically approve the visa after the second interview ? Thanks for any help.

On 3/25/25 they sent me a email stating they were trying to get ahold of the beneficiary but were unable to. I responded back with her new phone number and asked if they could tell me what they were calling about . I have not heard back from them and they have yet to call my fiancé , my fiancé has been trying to call the embassy but has not gotten through to anyone. Usually they email me and let me know if they need anything or any updates. So this was weird. They have yet to tell me what they were trying to call her about, and as of this message they have not connected with my fiancé . Is it possible the visa is approved? I just keep thinking if they wanted more info or a second interview they would email me like they did before. I read different things, are they able to tell the petitioner if the visa is approved? I hope to contact them soon.

Just an update . The caec last updated changed from 1/27 to 1/31. The status remains the same. It’s the first time in months the last updated changed and it changed two time in a week. Maybe it means nothing but atleast something happened. I emailed the embassy on 2/9/25 and they responded 2/10/25 and said the case was still in AP and will contact when it is finished. Who knows how long it is gonna take. I’m wondering if they are just finishing up the security checks. I am hopeful the case will be resolved by the end of the month. We are close to 3 months post interview and post giving them the one document they asked for and giving my fiancés passport. My hope is it ends this month. But we will see. It’s hard. Stay strong to anyone else out there going through this. I will update if anything changes .

Just an update. The ceac last viewed changed to 1/27 from 11/29 ,although the status has not changed. Hopefully that means it will gon through soon or maybe it means nothing. Will keep it updated

Just an update . We are still waiting to hear something. The documents were submitted right after the interview in November . It updated on 11/29 (no change to status) . I emailed them on 12/15 and they to my astonishment replied on 12/16. I attached the email. since then I have not heard from them. Nothing updates, nothing changed. I tried to email a week ago for any update and no reply . It has not been 60 days yet. But getting close . If I don’t hear anything after 60 days I will then contact the senator. I have had really good luck with contacting the senator. But we will see . Just wanted to keep anyone updated who maybe in a similar situation.

Yeah this embassy has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. Thank you , I hope she just gets here. I have waited two years I can wait a bit more. I just hope they approve it.

No. My first wife we met here. I did not file an immigrant visa for her. The divorce was years ago. It was strange to me that’s what they were asking about. I was hoping that once we drop off the original copy of her divorce paperwork that we would be finally be done with this nightmare.

What red flags? I am genuinely confused. He have thousands of texts and pictures, my mom wrote a letter stating the relationship is genuine, neither of us have any criminal history nor drug use, I didn’t meet her on a app we met through my friend in graduate school. We are the same religion, speak the same language. I don’t understand what red flags? She has never applied for a visa before, I have never tried a K-1 before. I can’t understand how there could be any red flags?

Just an update. I contacted the senator who contacted the embassy and got us a new interview 11/19(today) . My fiancée went to the interview and they asked her a bunch of questions of my ex wife , who she doesn’t know and never met, we have been divorced for 6 years . They denied her visa , gave her a letter which states the denial was for some documents. They requested she give her orginal divorce certificate, she had a certified copy but they wanted the original. Then it also says administrative review. She will be dropping off the letter, her passport and the orginal document tomorrow at the drop off location. So I’m just very on edge this has been such a long process. Has anyone been through this? If we send the documents will the visa be issued?

Hi I am lost, I tried searching couldn’t find anything regarding it. My fiancée was the victim of a crime and her passport got stolen before the medical exam. So that got rescheduled to 11/1/24. We were able to get an expedited passport replacement before the K-1 interview 10/15/24. When she went with the police report, they told her and several others that unless they had the medical exam completed that they could not do the interview and it would need to be rescheduled after the medical exam being completed. They took her number and said they would call to reschedule after the medical exam. I was furious. She completed the medical exam 11/1/24. We have not heard from the embassy to reschedule her interview. I have send numerous emails to them requesting a new interview date. I try calling during the scheduled hours but they never answer and the recording says they are closed smh. I am so lost right now. I am contacting my senator, but beyond that I don’t know what to do. We waited so long for that interview just for it to be taken away . Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated. I will ofcourse update when I have any information.

What happened was she went to the interview and they called everyone who standing in line who didn’t get their medical exam to step out. Her an and a few others stepped out. They told my fiancée and the others that they can not do the interview without the medical exa being completed. They took her number down and said they will call to schedule another appointment after the medical exam. I was furious. The medical exam has since been completed 11/1/24 and no call. I have been emailing the embassy to reschedule and no answer and everytime I call they are closed even though it is during their posted open hours. So now I have no idea what to do, when she will come. I have already contacted a senator .

Hi, my fiancée lost her passport after having her car stolen, she is ok and the guy is now in jail. We were able to get a new passport before the interview date, however the medical examiner rescheduled the medical exam til after the interview. It was my understanding she could still go to the interview and then do the medical exam after, it says this on their website. But when she went she stated they told her and a few others that they need a medical exam first and they took down the date when her medical exam is and said they would call her after the medical exam date to schedule a new interview ? Is this accurate? Has this happened to anyone else? thank you for any advice

Hi this is an oddly specific question , I just wondering if anyone had something similar happen. My fiancée had a stroke of bad luck, she rented a car to go to Casablanca for the medical exam and on her way there a group of people were fighting in the streets and eventually stole her car with all the papers and passport. Police report was filed . She filed a new passport, id etc. they told her it would take 15 days for the passport which would make it October 18. The interview is October 15.. Casablanca embassy is notorious hard to get ahold of. If the passport does not arrive early before the 15th of she went to the interview with all the paperwork would there be a chance? Thanks for any and all input much appreciated.

Hi i am a little confused, don’t know if i should be happy, scared or indifferent. I checked my CEAC status and it says ready case last updated June 5th. Before it used to say ready case updated February 12th. So it looks like does this mean me and my fiancée will get the welcome pack and visa interview date soon? We been waiting for 4 months. Or does it literally mean nothing and just the computer updating? Thanks for any help or comments.

Did the letter come to both of your emails ? Or just the beneficiary? I’m trying to find out if I as the petitioner will receive an email as well or just the beneficiary.

Damn.. I hope you hear something soon that is horrendous. When the welcome letter and interview date arrive do they physical mail it or do they email it? Does it go to the petitioner and beneficiary or just the beneficiary? I saw some people got an interview on May 28th. This whole process is crazy. I really hope you get your interview like asap.

Wow you been waiting since October for an interview? I am going through Casablanca embassy as well. We are waiting 3 months now and hear nothing DS160 paid everything. I have been emailing them as well and they never answer, I have called to. Nothing works. Seeing you have been waiting since October is so disheartening… I was expecting 3-6 months to get an interview not waiting another year… This is so ridiculous it is taking so long. I am sorry you’re in this position. This really makes me worried.. damn.

Hi I have tried emailing the Moroccan embassy pretty much every day for two weeks or more and I have not received any responses. I have tried calling nothing. We have had CEAC status as ready since February, the ds160 form has been filled out and paid for. It has been 3 months, neither me nor my fiance in Morocco has received any packet or an email for an interview date. Is there something I am missing? How long has any of you who went through this embassy had to wait for the packet or interview date? I can’t get no information from the consulate I am just so aggravated and lost. Thanks for any help or comments.
