  1. lol I have no reason to lie. On everything that doesn’t require my middle name I use my first and last. I have a long name so it’s just easier. I only have it on the documents where they told me “oh we have to add your name like it is on the birth certificate” otherwise I never think about it. Thank you for your reply and it’s weird to think someone would lie about that. I work for the government and wouldn’t intentionally try to mislead them…they have all of my info
  2. Hello, I recently filed the I-130 and just put my first and last name as it is all that’s on my passport. I received an RFIE for proof of US Citizenship which I provided my passport already but was not sure if it was a bad scan or got lost so I uploaded it again as well as my birth certificate which I realized has my middle name. Then I realized my marriage license does as well. On the application I just didn’t put anything. Is this something I need to submit unsolicited evidence for? Can we be denied for me not writing my middle name? Also, my middle named is misspelled on my drivers license and marriage license because it has to match my drivers license that I originally obtained with my short birth certificate that had the typo, long form is correct. I can send in proof of everything or should I wait?
  3. Hi! I received the medical exam envelope and it was sealed, signed, stamped. I added my fiancés name and dob on the outside. Should’ve asked beforehand but is that ok or could it cause issues?
  4. I was told it had to be the original but if I can just get it sent to me that actually would solve this all. Thank you!
  5. Yes I am going through USCIS for the AOS. Thank you so much for your reply! Good to know that worse case it’s an RFE and not just a denial
  6. Hi! My husband came on a B2 visa. It expires in April and while we are trying to get everything filed before his stay expires in April we are having difficulty with getting his birth certificate so it might take longer than we hoped. My question is after his stay expires can we still file the AOS? If so, is he no longer subject to being deported once the application is received or since it was after his overstay will he be at risk until it is approved or denied? I am a US Citizen by birth. Thank you in advance!
  7. Hello! I am currently starting the AOS and Spousal Visa for my Husband. We had a baby last year and I was considered high risk so I was off of work on maternity leave for almost a year. While I have since returned, my 2023 taxes does not meet the requirement by almost $900. I have a 401K and I do make my rate from my 2022 taxes now. Will this be an issue? Or if I provide my previous year and pay stubs or VOE letter will that suffice? And if they declare I do NOT meet the income requirements do I we get a chance to add a joint sponsor or is it just denied?
