They will send you an email once the package is picked up. For us it took one week from "issued" to "package being picked up.

Hi...when the package is handed to purolator you will get an email from the consulate saying that your passport has been sent. That email will have the tracking number. With that tracking number we were able to track the package through Purolator website.

No...just fill out the form online. No need to send a copy to the consulate. We were given the same form and only filled it online.

Yes...my spouse who got her green card in Jan 2025 had the same experience. She had her interview in Mar 24 at the Montreal consulate, and was handed the DS5535 after the interview. She did not have to submit her CV or any additional document.

These updates are normal. Everytime some one looks at your case you get an update that is unsoliciated. It happended with us too. My spouse interviewed on March 15, 2024 and had 5 udates in 2 weeks. She was granted the visa finally in January 6, 2025.

It was very easy crossing the border by road. The officer just asked to confirm the address where the green card should be sent. The whole process took about 30 minutes. It was because of the time the paperwork took on their side. All the best.

Yes...the AP is complete and they are ready to issue the visa. It might take upto 5 weeks (that is what happened to us in December). So, you just have to keep waiting. All the best.

@ AnnaSalu...what else is in the packet that comes from the consulate besides the passport. Is there any document to make payments?

Hi...ceac shows "issued" on Jan 6th...when can i expect to receive the tracking number? Though the website says 10 business days...what has been the experience of those in the forum?
