  1. Got you! Yes, that is true. Thank you
  2. What does RSO stand for? I am in the same boat with the fingerprinting card. I asked on my base and they are not doing it.
  3. I see that you are from Germany? Did you file your N400 from here?
  4. Thank you! I will put our German address as physical and as mailing address our APO address.
  5. Okay, thank you. I will leave it blank. Do you also know the answers to my other question. How many bank statements did you provide?
  6. Yes, I know. But I was told not to leave any part free and should put N/A on it.
  7. Thank you! So for example, in Part 2 Question 3. if I do not want to change my legal name, and mark 'No' (skip to Item Number 4.) can I just go to Question 4. (USCIS Online Account Number) and leave Family Name blank or do you write N/A?
  8. Also for Part 8. Time Outside the United States do you also add the time when you left the USA with the orders or just the time when you left the US for vacation and returned back to the US?
  9. Hi - I am currently applying for N400 from overseas. I have a few questions regarding filling out the form. 1.) I am filing out under 3 year residency rule, married to a USC. Do I have to answer the residency and employment only for 3 or 5 years? 2.) If you can skip questions, do you just leave it blank, or answer 'No'? 3.) Do you put as a physical address your APO or foreign address? I am thankful for any input! Liyah
  10. I am Military Spouse and filing for naturalisation in September from overseas under 319 (a). I have been married to my US husband for almost 4 years and I will be a LPR for 3 years in December. I am looking at the N400 Application and in Question 1 "Reason for Filing" I would choose 1D "Spouse of a US Citizen in qualified employment outside of the USA. Would I still choose a field office, or is it only for people who file under 319 (b)?
  11. Thanks so much guys! Yes @ghostinthemachine you're right, I figured it out after USCIS hotline told me that I can do it, but couldn't explain how. That's correct, you pick "Europe/Middle East/Africa/Canada". Thanks so much to you and @Kevo
  12. Same here! I hope you're heading back to the States soon. I can't apply for jobs on base, because I'm not a citizen yet. I didn't apply for naturalisation under 319 (b), I found about it too late. I applied for ROC last year in the fall, and it's still being reviewed. When you filed for naturalisation, did you send a letter or an email that the case be transferred to Fairfax, VA? I also want Fairfax to handle my case. Thank you
  13. Nice! That sounds great! Congratulations!!!! I'm filing in September as well und the 3 year rule. We are currently in Germany and it's hard with finding jobs here.
  14. Hi - I am sure somebody can help me. We recently moved to Germany and I wasn't able to change my address to APO AE in my online account. For some reason, there is no dropdown for the state AE. Did somebody else had the same issue? I put our German address in there for now, but want to change it to our APO AE address. I just don't want to send a hard copy of the AR-11 to change it. I am pretty sure there is a workaround to enter the AE, as military hotline said, I should be able to do it. Thank you for everyone who can help me!
