Try to reach your senator or congressman and see if he can send them an email to get an update on your case, but most of the time you will get the generic response which is still in progress, but won’t hurt to try!
@F.I my dad is 68 years old and he still got it, it’s not about the age, unfortunately this is there system, and here I am next week, we will complete 60 days of waiting and still no update from them!
My parents did their interview and they send only my dad’s case to administrative processing on 03/05/24 in Lebanon Beirut, and we are still waiting as well, I asked immigration lawyer and he stated that after waiting 1 year from date of I-130 you can file a mandamus lawsuit in case you didn’t hear any feedback from them. Please keep us posted if you hear anything back from them! Thanks
Did you do anything to speed up the process? Or you have any advice? They did the same for my dad who is 68 years old and limited travel history, and it’s been pending so far for almost 3 weeks!!
Thank you for your response back, hopefully will hear back from them soon, wondering if anyone in Lebanon, Beirut had the same thing and what’s their time line
My dad 68years old interviewed 3 days ago in Lebanon-Beirut for IR-5 visa and got a DS-5535, I don’t understand why they give such a form for elderly people, any idea how long it’s going now a days to be completed with the U.S embassy? Thanks in advance
