Hello . Any update on your case ? You are almost 1 years in AP. I am hopeful you are clear now. Please do shear , this will help a lot to understand Islamabad embassy.
-
Any update sir ? I almost completed 9 months in the painful misery.
-
Sorry to hear painful situation you are in , I also share same pain , family parted/separated just because of one extra form that too after interview (interview that came after years of waiting) is horrible. Wait time extremely depend on Geopolitical situation, 9 to 12 months is for 50% of cases(just like you give one example in your post) , 13 to 18 months are for 30% of cases and 19 to 24+ months for remaining 20% of cases. Maybe Afghan in Pakistan waiting for USA visa also effecting Pakistanis waiting for USA visa applicant time line. Rumor in Islamabad is that Afghan national getting all the priority from last 3/4months (1000's of them getting USA visa) , people are talking about 1000s of them leaving the homes they were renting in Islamabad (of course they will not go back to Afghanistan). Please keep us updating about your case , stay strong , Keep me and all others in AP under Ds-5535 in your prayers . As I keep all in mine. Thank you.

210 days , 7 hard months completed in Ap under ds-5535, 4th email (each with 1 month gap) is on its way to Islamabad embassy. So far I got no reply from them and only 1 last case update date change in 7 months . Well that sounds pathetic but that's the situation in Islamabad Pakistan for Pakistanis because rumors are that the Afghani citizens are getting all the priority and time. This got so pain full that words can't describe it. Any update on your case sir.

Hello sir, Any update on your side ? I completed my 6th month and still no reply from US embassy Islamabad. Hello Shah G , Any update on your side?
-
Shah G , there is no set time limit, 4 Persons with visa need to fly out of Pakistan, For remaining 2 this is just a wait game, painful, horrible wait game. I will tell you what I learn online so far, keep sending Islamabad embassy email after every 30 days and keep asking them for update, Involve congressman after 9 months in AP and start WoM proceedings after 12 months in AP. And keep praying. Thats about it, you or I or anyone else in AP under DS-5535 cannot do anything more than wait and time his/her congressman inquiry and WoM case filling time frame. WoM is very expensive and time consuming too and without any success guarantee. For WoM one need good USA immigration lawyer and WOM will cost hell lot of money in Pakistani rupees(cost for one person in US $ is 3000 to 7000 depend on lawyer and for WoM one need very good lawyer)

Hello Sir , Any new update , Its quite as grave yard and cold as ice on my side 😔🤕

120 days before any inquiry is mentioned in somewhere on Pakistan embassy website, The yellow card I got also says wait for 120 days before any inquiry. In Ds-5535 times start after submitting/uploading DS-5535, I guess in other AP time will also start after submitting required documents, but in your case, they didn't ask for any extra document, so first you email embassy and wait for there response if you don't get any then after 120 days of interview start congressional inquiry.

Hello friends its me again form other part of the world, Congratulations to all those whom received final email and out of this misery. Finally some movement in Canada. Things are very slow in Pakistan at Islamabad . 5 months completed In AP under DS-5535 , I emailed Islamabad embassy 3 times and got no reply back from them , Last case update date only changed once (last month after 4 months in AP). Things are very bad and slow in Pakistan. This wait is turning into nightmare.
-
Yes , this means your case will stay in Islamabad and will not go to Washington for approval(AKA security checks) which is good. But I am afraid Islamabad embassy working extremely slow , just look at how much time they took to send you back your passport with green slip. 5 months completed In AP under DS-5535 , I emailed Islamabad embassy 3 times and got no reply back from them , Last case update date only changed once (last month after 4 months in AP). Things are very bad and slow in Pakistan. This wait is turning into nightmare.

Hello every one , Its me again from other part of the world , Congratulations to all those whom got visa email. In Pakistan things are bad very bad , I am in AP under Ds-5535 from last 4 and half months , I sent embassy email twice I got no reply from them. On ceac portal I had my first Last case update date changed few days ago. On this forum and many other (WhatsApp groups ) I haven't come across anyone who cleared AP under Ds-5535 in Last 2 months and got visa in last 2 months In Islamabad (Pakistan), Things are very slow and miserable here. If you guys know anyone who got visa in Pakistan in last 2 months please let me know that will be a great moral booster ........... Thank you all.

Suppose to be quicker but , This depend on many things/factors, like your personal background , your ethnicity , your religion , skin color , embassy your file is at and visa officer who is dealing with your case. In my personal experience on online forums I saw people getting their visa in few weeks and some are waiting even after 6 months in AP without Ds-5535. So there is no set time limit.

4 months in AP under Ds-5535 , I emailed embassy After 1 month gap, No response from embassy . This was my second email to them , sending them email after 1 month gap, started after 3 months in AP. Only positive thing is I had My very first Last Date Update on CEAC portal few days ago(after 4 months in AP). This waiting period and especially ignoring by embassy is painful and hard and insulting on the same time. -

How will they do it and under what criteria ? She never left Pakistan which means no travel history , she never entered US which means no Data in USA......The only reason I can think of is, She is in AP only because she is young educated MUSLIM Pakistani girl. Thats IT.
