  1. We never got anything from the embassy. We scheduled the medical without having an interview appointment.
  2. PLEASE HELP! Please help me to understand this. My fiancée and her friend both completed their sputum collection today. My fiancée has been instructed to return tomorrow for her smear result, but her friend was released to return in approximately 8 weeks. The difference is that on her friend's paperwork, under section 1. "Working Impression" "Pulmonary Tuberculosis suspect based on chest x-ray" is checked. On my fiancée's paperwork, nothing is checked. Can someone please explain the difference? I don't understand why she even had to go for sputum testing since there was nothing checked off in section 1. "Working Impression." What is going on?
  3. I check multiple times a day, for over a month . . . Nothing.
  4. The "mystery calendar" appeared again today, and I am immediately rate-limited. SO FRUSTRATING.
  5. Congrats on snagging an appointment. Best wishes to you and your fiancee. Hope to hit the "appointment lottery" at some point . . .
  6. Interesting. I just checked again and now it's gone. I got it several times over the last 2 days. The website sure seems "glitchy."
  7. Curious if anyone else is having this experience. For the past two days that I have been checking for an appointment, there appears to be a "broken" calendar at the bottom of one of the pages. Every time I see this calendar and attempt to continue to the next page, I get the "rate limited" page. I've never seen this calendar before, but it appears to be too large for the webpage and not working properly and the website no longer works. Anyone else?
  8. Big thanks to J.M. and top_secret for their info and knowledge. Thanks to everyone. I really appreciate having the reliable information on the process and the support of those in this community, and those growing through the same situation. Her sputum collection is next week, the 5th, 6th, 7th. I hate that she is stuck there in that crappy neighborhood, but thankful that she met someone in the same situation and they are going to share a hotel room together.
  9. So my fiancee has to take the dreaded sputum test. I had to cancel her flight home and find her a hotel for a week. This is really sad for us but I know there is nothing we can do. Getting accurate info at St Luke's is not easy . . . From what I have read here, I am assuming that they will somehow notify her in approximately 8 weeks to return for the results? On a separate note, the area around St Luke's and the embassy sure is scuzzy. She is afraid to go outside of the hotel. Thankfully she made a friend with another girl there that also has to go through the testing and they are going to be there in Manila together to support each other and not be alone. I hated having to leave her in Manila today.
  10. Sounds like it's sorted. Good luck scheduling an appointment. We have been unsuccessful. It's REALLY frustrating!
  11. This doesn't make sense. The receipt number on the customer copy is the receipt number generated from the travel docs deposit document. The teller used the top section of the form which has the same number on it to take and process the fee. Our teller gave us an additional receipt from the bank with the same number recorded on it.
  12. You need to print out the deposit page and take it to the RCBC branch. Since my fiancee does not own a printer, I had to use a thumb drive and go to a print shop. The bank will tear off the bottom of the printed page which has the number that you then enter when you attempt to make an appointment.
  13. Yes, there is an online payment method and pay in person at a listed bank branch. You have to print out a deposit slip and take it to the bank. The bank was very familiar with what we were doing and provides a receipt number that you then enter when attempting to schedule an appointment . . . which we have now tried dozens of times with no luck.
  14. Ah, OK. That's exactly what I see. I'm starting to wonder if I will ever see a calendar.
  15. Has anyone gone to the US embassy and tried to make an appointment in person? I'm wondering if that might work or will they just turn you away and tell you to use the website?
  16. I'm very interested in the answer to this question. I have been checking for an appointment multiple times a day and I have never seen anything in this area that you've circled. I have read people mentioning "a calendar" here, but I have never seen one.
  17. I have been "rate limited" for 4 days. I have only been able to check once and have never been able to access the website since. Does anyone know if when I check the website if that "starts the clock" all over again being "rate limited?" Any advice? It's really frustrating not being able to schedule this last step. Final question - What happens if this continues past our NOA expiration date?!
  18. Very helpful as always, J.M. I appreciate the info. It's difficult to wrap my western mind over the fact that she has never had a vaccination.
  19. My fiancée says that she is unaware of ever having any vaccination other than COVID. Will she receive all necessary vaccinations at the time of the exam? What about vaccinations such as Hep B which is a series of injections? Are there any vaccinations she should have prior to the exam, such as starting the Hep B series?
  20. Thank you, and best of luck on your and your fiancée's journey! We are now busy gathering documents so we are ready to schedule her Embassy interview.
  21. J.M., I really appreciate the response. Today was just a frustrating day trying figure things out. I used hers but provided the password so that I can complete it. Again, thanks.
  22. OK, I guess I have figured this out. On the DS-160 page it says that we must schedule an interview . . .
  23. Looking at the "flow chart" it is unclear to me if the Embassy in Manila assigns you an interview date or you make one online, I am assuming using ustraveldocs.com? I assume I can create an account on ustraveldocs for my Fiancée, but it should be using her email address?
  24. Thanks J.M.! Happened a lot quicker than I anticipated!
  25. Sorry, just excited. The whole process seems like a Black Hole, and I'm just shocked that we are moving to the next step!
