  1. I see. So I guess I have to bring the marriage certificate and some explanation on every trip if this is the case. 😅 I will see to it that I carry the divorce decree as well if necessary. Ohhhh. Gotchaa. We don't plan on filing an ROM in Philippine consulate in the US cos we will have the foreign divorce recognized as soon as I settled.
  2. Sorry for the confusion... These are not our real names. Example only. My name: Marie Leonora Terese C. (Cruz) Smith ------ My married name in the Philippines and passport. Smith is my ex-husband's last name and divorced in the US Fiance's name: Anthony Smith
  3. OMG that's a lot to take! 😁 Thank you both! Alright, can u help me both with an example please? Maria (1st) Leonora (2nd) Teresa (3rd) Cruz (my single name last name) Smith (my ex-husband's last name) is what's on my passport and k1 application Husband's name: Anthony Davis I want to be Maria Davis or any name combination as long as DAVIS is there How do we go about it?
  4. Thank you @Edward and Jaycel and @EatBulaga for the inputs! I read some posts here wherein people expressed worries about booking flights to the Philippines for a visit with their names on passports, and flight itineraries vs name green cards. I also read that a marriage certificate must be on hand in case IO asks about the name differences on each document. However, I couldn't find any success stories. As we all know, Filipino names are different lol I have 3 first names that's why I worry and want to be ahead of it and save time on research when it is time to get married and change to (new) husband's last name
  5. I appreciate your response, it's very insightful. Me personally is in no rush getting a SS card. I just thought we can get married before 75 days lapse, get the marriage certificate then apply for SS card with my chosen name (with my fiancé's last name). I no longer want my ex-husband's name in me. LOL.
  6. Was married in the Philippines (only) with a USC.
  7. Good day! I want to ask a few things ahead of time related to name change procedures and what are my options. My ex-husband is a USC, we are divorced in the US and still married in the Philippines. (divorce still not legal and I have his last name on my legal docs and K1 filing) Clearly, we can't do ROM which we are more than okay. If my fiancé and I get married before getting an SSN, will I be able to use his last name on my SSN, green card, and EAD on the application? Will it cause any issues or delay if I don't get my SSN immediately upon arrival just like everyone else did/advise? Your thoughts are highly aprpeciated!
  8. I also noticed on group chats updating 221g after confirming receipt of the documents was relatively slow recently, especially for those who had undergone sputum and went on with their interviews. I hope yours will be resolved soon.
  9. The new website is a pain to deal with. In my case, I scheduled an appointment for biometrics and received a confirmation email. A few days later, the options to reschedule in the left tabs will disappear. It's so annoying, It would be the best to call them for help.
  10. Sorry to hear about the denial. When you got married online, did you guys processed ROM (Report of Marriage) in USEM in Manila? If yes, civil registry should’ve been updated and she should receive AOM instead of Cenomar if she will go to PSA to obtain Cenomar.
  11. The new policy allows applicants to push through with the interview with pending medical results but will be on 221g until SLEC forward the results after 8 weeks. Yes, they disclose IGRA results
  12. Oh I see. Its at the interview confirmation print out too. One of the barcodes. It says UID.
  13. Here's what I found: "Travelers must have a return ticket to their country of origin or an onward ticket to another destination outside the Philippines. This is to ensure that visitors do not overstay their visa-free or visa-limited duration." Documents Required for Immigration Control in the Philippines But we had this experience way back my fiancé overstayed, we went to the Bureau of Immigration in Manila and paid the fee. He was also given an ACR.
  14. The UID is the number of on the top right of her profile when she login to usvisascheduling website. It's on the interview confirmation too.
  15. Married. Wala kasing divorce sa Pinas. Nakalagay don na you have a record of marriage registered under your name and the (ex) husband.
  16. Have her try to obtain Cenomar from PSA and see if she will receive either Advisory of Marriages or a Cenomar. Either way is accepted by the embassy and CFO
  17. Bring your AOM din sa interview.
  18. No need for recognition of divorce. You just need your original divorce decree and marriage certificate (proof of legal name change) on filing. Bring those on interview too.
  19. If there’s no K1FTP letter you can use the response from the public inquiry form. When your case changes to "In-Transit", ideally the petitioner receives the K1FTP via email within few hours. My fiancé found ours in Spam/Junk folder. 14 days later the beneficiary will receive the hard copy. Bring the following documents: Vaccination records – original and two (2) photocopies, including the COVID-19 vaccine certificate, if vaccinated Visa Interview Appointment Letter – I didnt had one so I copied and signed a waiver at SLEC Letter with Case Number – one (1) photocopy - I used the public inquiry tool response with my case number Confirmation for K Visa applicants
  20. Hi, My petition is approved! ☺️
  21. Congratulations!! 🎊 https://cfo.gov.ph/cfo-hybrid-frontline-services-for-guidance-and-counseling-program/
  22. Yup, some people get called as early as two weeks. Eight weeks is crucial. Some applicants were called on their sixth and seventh weeks to get treatment started. They usually call on Fridays. I pray there are no calls for you! 🙂
  23. Beautiful photos! ♥ Thank you for sharing! Yes, @Edward and Jaycel is right. 🙂
  24. A gesture of respect for an elder person/family member. Called "pagmamano" or "mano" 🙂
  25. Did she use her passport as the primary id when she applied for the 2021 NBI? If not, try to use the ID used at that time. If still doesn't work, your plan could work too!
