    Our I-130 spousal application was also approved last week! Our case was 'being actively reviewed' from 23 October 2023 and approval on 9 February 2025 - 475 days total. We contacted our local congressman shortly before Christmas and he said that he would contact USCIS, but it's hard to tell if it actually made a difference or whether the process just ran its course! We've already heard from NVC, so we hope that the remainder of the process is a lot quicker, but congratulations!! Hopefully soon this will all be a distant memory

    I think me and my husband are both looking forward to never being in this process again (fingers crossed!). It's also so difficult explaining to friends and family that we really have no idea when it could be approved and therefore when we'll be moving; one of the biggest life decisions we could make and it's all in the hands of the USCIS! We're with VSC, so it looks as though we could hear something soon, but then it's onto the NVC and then the embassy interview. Does anybody have any idea how long that process (organising interview, medical etc.) usually takes?

    Sounds like we’re (unfortunately) in a similar position. We’ve had the “taking longer than expected “ message since early January. I reached out to a USCIS chat rep last month to see if I could get any update, but I was just referred to the processing times page, which says 14 months. Just in case you’re not already using it, I’ve found https://hilites.today/uscis_cases/insights a really useful resource to see how similar cases are moving. This whole process has been pretty frustrating and we’ll be glad to see the end of it haha. I hope you hear something soon!

    Hi! I know that this forum hasn't been active for a while but it'd be great to see how some fellow Oct 23 filers are doing! Me and my husband filed online on 10 October 2023, and our case has been under 'active review' since 23 October with VSC. Hoping to hear something soon, but those hopes aren't very high! How are y'all doing?
