Update for anyone in a similar situation: Visa approved. They asked 3 questions, the only document looked at was marriage certificate. Took less than 3 minutes. I included proof of domicile through bank statements, bill transactions, home ownership, but they didn't ask questions about my current employment/income nor of how long I was in Morocco.

Hello, my spouse has a US CR1 green card appointment from Morocco in Casablanca coming up and we've been documentarily qualified. I left my job a while after being DQ'd because I was extremely unhappy in my career and wanted to leave since I started the visa process but hung on for 2 years to bring my spouse over. I plan to go back to school and have plenty of savings left over the minimum threshold income. I have my own home. I'm here in Morocco with my spouse and I'm hoping to leave together once she gets her visa approval. I also have a joint sponsor that makes over 200k a year. Will my unemployment be an issue for the visa approval? Thank you for your time.
