    How likely is that I will have to go back to my country to continue the process? Applied to asylum so then I can adjust my status doing the EB 2 NIW, how likely is I will go back to my country in order for the process to continue? My lawyer told me that it will be necessary to return back to my country for an interview and a medical check in the consulate of the United States and then receive my green card. But I’ve seen multiple people just being called for that meeting inside the US and then just wait for their green card in the mail. How likely is I will have to go back? TIA
