Thanks for your help, yesterday I came across this post. I wonder if the reason they got rejected was because they intended to stay in Canada for sometime? I am not sure if I should introduce risk to save some time in terms of the SSN processing.

Hello! I recently received my CR1 spousal visa and I am wondering if: 1. I can cross the land border from Canada to the U.S.? 2. Can I come back to Canada for a brief time (2-4 weeks) before moving fully to organize my stuff before I move for good? Am I allowed to travel before the green card comes in through the mail? Thanks in advance!
