Hi!
During my holidays in USA last summer I have met my SO and we have recently decided to make our relationship official and intend to marry. They have visited me in my home country and met my parents and I will be coming to the US again to meet their mom in a couple months from now.
Currently I am completing my Masters degree and I was accepted for an exchange semester at a university in the US. I would be starting my semester abroad in September and we plan on moving in together for that time.
I was wondering if it is possible for us to apply for a K1 visa before I arrive in the US for the exchange. I am residing in the European Union and thus not a subject to the two year rule.
