Hello, I got a question in connection with this topic, I guess. Briefly my situation: I came to US on visa B1…within 4 months I married a girl and applied for AOS…unfortunately she got cancer and died (on the day of our immigration interview, too bad).
I got a letter from USCIS latter on in one month that my application is being denied and I need to leave the US within 6 weeks which I did. This all happened 16 years ago (2008). MY QUESTION IS; Can I go to US now and apply for ESTA or tourist visa? Or I will be turned down anyway…Is it worth to try?
