  1. No, During I129F i submitted my passport bio page copy. At Embassy i brought my BC, which was brand new and long form version.
  2. United Kingdom. I just figured i should be concerned as it wasn’t the usual “Verbal Approval”
  3. Hi Yesterday i had my interview for the K1 Visa in London, everything went really well, at the end of the interview she told me she believes our relationship is genuine. When I gave her my birth certificate, she asked me “Have i had another birth certificate before” I said “Yes but i lost it, i understand the long birth certificate was needed so i went to the registrar office last week and got a brand new one” she said okay. She then confirmed her opinion on our relationship but she gave me a 221g form, she ticked administrative processing, and nothing else is ticked. She said “I highly doubt you will have to submit anything to us, but we will contact you soon” I questioned if everything was okay and she said “We just need to do some more background checks and this is normal” and then she kept my birth certificate and my passport. I am a little confused, Im assuming it has something to do with my birth certificate being brand new? i’m not sure why would that be a reason though, i’ve spoke to some others online and they have told me they might just need to authenticate it, hence why they have kept the birth certificate.
  4. ok i will include it, wouldnt pictures we have together be strong evidence?
  5. it doesn’t say to include any of this on the USCIS checklist. i have boarding passes which i can include in the proof of meeting.
  6. i am the beneficiary, my partner is the petitioner (us citizen) when i visited my partner i never got anything on my passport to show that i got in to the country (didn’t get passport stamped) should i still photocopy the initial ID page on my passport ?
  7. so would you suggest to photocopy my picture on my passport and put it in the petition?
  8. Hello. Me and my partner are currently in the process of getting the paperwork together for Form I-129F. Is it acceptable for the citizen to only send a copy of the birth certificate or is a passport needed as well? Is any ID required by the beneficiary also? (I have watched some youtube videos of people showing there forms and they have used both forms of ID, but i have read also that the beneficiary isn’t required to have any ID in the form, and also a passport isn’t necessarily required by the citizen if there is a birth certificate) any help would be great thank you :)
