  1. I don't think it's a rolling year. Each trip is treated separately but the total days outside the US factors when applying for citizenship. As I understand it any time spent longer than a year causes concern when coming back to the US. Also you mentioned you have a 2 year card so something to keep in mind because you don't want to miss any potential interview for removing your condition
  2. There is no hard and fast answers. Just remember the green card is for living and working in the US. With a travel pattern you have described an argument could be made by cbp that you have failed to establish the USA as your residence. Are you planning to apply for citizenship?
  3. Another thing to consider is are you from a visa waiver country? If you are you can make additional trips. Are you comfortable forgoing your earnings?
  4. Once it's done you have to start over again. And pay application fees again. You can't reverse the withdrawal.
  5. Are you comfortable not being able to work, drive? Is your boyfriend able to support you on his salary alone? Food for thought...
  6. What strong ties to they have to return? A pending immigration intent shows they want to settle here. Worth a try but wouldn't count on it
  7. To my understanding the employment authorization is not renewed, you have to apply and be approved for adjustment of status. Then once approved you get permanent resident card and that overrides the eac card
  8. It shouldn't be a problem. As long as the form is properly completed. I believe the form expires after 90 days from signing. I did this renewing my kids passport with no issues
  9. It's a myth about the waiting period. You can apply right away. When does your current status expire?
  10. Also are you in the US now? You would have to submit 485 as well but you can't adjust status if that was the intention all along Yes
  11. You can submit a certificate of naturalization. Otherwise renew the passport
  12. Officially not longer than a year but try to keep it under 6 months. Otherwise you have to file for reentry permit. Also prolonged absence delays your ability to file for citizenship
  13. I wouldn't do that because then uscis might reject the whole package for lack of payment. You have proof that it was received and that's all you need for now.
  14. Maybe your partner can visit you? Sounds like a lot of frequent visits
  15. I think you're good then just make sure the beneficiary knows about it. It will probably come up in the interview stage
  16. Not denied but all charges must be disclosed with accompanied paperwork from the court
  17. Answer the rfe promptly. Otherwise the petition cannot be approved. What is the rfe for?
  18. If you have case number start filling out. No need to wait for a welcome email or letter that will never come
  19. File asap. If you get rfe then act promptly
  20. Instructions very clear
  21. Fee's apply to 485, 765, 131 .previously all in one if sent with for 485. Effective April 1st Fee's paid separately and with separate checks. 129f fee already paid so no need to worry
