  1. Thanks. I sent follow up inquiry right after I got the email explaining what happened. Hope to hear back soon. Yes I did block out any identifying information because the reply e-mail was received blank.
  2. I understand the process, but where the case number is between the brackets is blank. It's as if they forgot to list it. So far I only have the receipt number from uscis..just wondering if this notification is normal. I inquired 2 weeks ago and I got response that the case was waiting to be entered in the nvc's database. Today I got the above notification.
  3. Petition was approved last month and I inquired to nvc if case number has been created. I got a generic response from nvc that case is established but leaves the number out. The invoice I.D. number for visa petition {CASE_NUMBER} is: {CASE_MASTER_ID} The beneficiary I.D. number for {PA_FULL_NAME_FIRST_LAST} is {BENEFICIARY_ID}. The National Visa Center (NVC) has received your petition from U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services. Your NVC case number is {CASE_NUMBER}. Due to your petition type, you will not receive a request for fee payment or document submission. All case parties will be notified when this petition is forwarded to the assigned U.S. Embassy/Consulate General. Anyone else received this message? Not sure if the case number is created or it's their way of saying to wait more.
  4. Hopefully you should get the NOA2 in about 3 months. Mine did. Obviously keep an eye out for your mail from anything from uscis, check your receipt number for any updates on the USCIS website.
  5. An approved petition is valid for 4 months. It may be extended at the discretion of the embassy.
  6. Adjustment of status is abandoned if the applicant leaves the US while it's being processed.
  7. Also you want to file as soon as possible so the beneficiary can work and travel, get dl or state id, ssc, open bank account.
  8. You can get married here and return back, nothing wrong with that plan. Answer all questions from cbp truthfully.
  9. You're a Green Card holder until you have your certificate of naturalization in hand. Once a US citizen you must enter and leave the US using a US passport.
  10. A lot of countries don't stamp passports anymore. Every time you enter your passport is scanned and an electronic record is made (I 94)
  11. Please complete your timelines. An approved petition is valid for 4 months. It may be extended at discretion of embassy. Visa is valid from 6 months of medical
  12. Just go to the office and apply for a replacement. Do not laminate the card once received.
  13. It's definitely changed since you have entered the US. Not sure how long you have been here. The present day cards are blue and white with security features paper
  14. That's why you can't laminate the card. All states need your social security number as proof of identity. A new immigrant definitely needs it
  15. K3 is dead. Either k1 or spouse visa.
  16. SSN number needed for drivers license or walkers ID in accordance with real ID requirements, now only 1 year away from becoming the law of the land
  17. Don't worry about text or chat logs. Weak evidence. I've learned a lot from this site as well.
  18. All the instructions are in the USCIS website. It's not necessary to include beneficiary birth certificate or cenomar. Best of luck. Just concentrate on showing you met in person within last 2 years
  19. Ok then. Please update your timelines when you get NOA2 good luck 👍
  20. And update their notes on their interactions if necessary.
  21. Ok. Well good luck to us then. Keep your timelines updated. Of course everyone wants fast processing times. When I sent my petition in I was expecting a year before NOA2.
  22. Hopefully this is the norm that cases approved would take only 4 or 5 months to process. By your timelines you should hear this week
  23. Perhaps but what does track my visa get their info from? Specifically like how many people are ahead of you.
  24. You need patience. It's only 5 months in... officially 80 percent of petitions processed within 13.5 months at California service center
