JULY 2024 AOS FILERS
Nous Eb replied to The journey's topic in Adjustment of Status Case Filing and Progress Reports
I have a feeling the vaccine waiver does not take much extra time, if any. A year during covid sounds positive in my ears, I hope I can expect my GC soon! -
JULY 2024 AOS FILERS
Nous Eb replied to The journey's topic in Adjustment of Status Case Filing and Progress Reports
I don't think a vaccine waiver on religious grounds would require lots of documentation other then your own well argumented statement and not being vaccinated recently. I've seen a lot of success stories as long as the belief is genuine. I never needed any vaccine waivers for anything for example. I did add statements from others because I could, but should not be necessary because your beliefs can be genuine without other people vouching for it. A year is quite long but if it was during covid it was probably quite quick. Was that similar then to the I-485 approvals without waivers? -
Yes both, but turns out also about 0% black and likely not even half Indian. It's a rabbit hole! Candace started digging because people started slamming Janet Jackson for saying that she heard that Kamala isn't 4even black. It's episode 70-79 (episode 70 somewhere halfway it starts) and she is still digging. This week she's on vacation, next Monday she will do more. If my conclusion is right from Candace's research then Kamala wasn't born on US soil at all. What an October Surprise that would be...

JULY 2024 AOS FILERS

She filed I-601 as well? For what reason and how long did the approval take? -
Age difference, high fraud country
Nous Eb replied to Scotty and JoJo's topic in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures
If I were a USCIS officer and you would file with this story and get married first trip, it would be huge red flags all over for me. My first intuition would say 'green card marriage'. Doesn't mean it's true, but it certainly appears that way. If I were you I would follow the advice already given and meet multiple times for longer periods before getting married. An online relationship is not the same as living together. I would never marry and sponsor (you will be financially responsible) someone I had never met in person. That just sounds strange to me and I bet also to any USCIS officer. So spend the money on trips instead of a divorce! -
Hey, when you're that worried and you know your relationship is legit, watch that 90 day fiancé season with Danielle and Muhammed. They got approved and for me 1000000000000 alarm bells went off within 2 minutes of seeing them. So if even they get approved, no need to worry when you are in a genuine relationship. The USCIS officer who approved that must have been very gullible! And 18 months? That's long! My parents got married after 6 months and are still married 46 years later. Don't care about what others think or say. If it feels good, go for it. As long as you can prove you two have met and there is no red flags. I don't see it being denied. I Think you might worry a bit too much, chill!

This is a big issue imo. You do not need the vaccines for the K1, they should just have you do the full medical in the US when you adjust status if CS's here refuse to just do the vaccines when you have already been checked. I called here to have a CS check the box that I was not getting vaccines and would file a waiver and even for that they wanted to redo the whole medical I JUST HAD. I then decided to just file the waiver right away instead of I-693 with my AOS package. What is the use of a civil surgeon in your home country approved for your visa by the USA (mine was an American doctor) if they don't seem to trust their colleagues here at all? I do not take any vaccines, but those who do want to take vaccines might not have enough time in between to take all the vaccines needed for the complete DS-3025. It's completely ridiculous that CS's here make them redo their full medical. They know you will have to do it because you don't wanna have to leave the US. So it's a money grab in my opinion. That said, I did read that there are civil surgeons who will complete it, but if you have to take a plane to get there or spend hundreds of dollars in gas you might as well have the whole thing again.

JULY 2024 AOS FILERS
Nous Eb replied to The journey's topic in Adjustment of Status Case Filing and Progress Reports
Congrats! I didn't file that one, only I-601 and I-485, so I am going to assume both will be approved at the same time. No idea how long it will take but I did see some cases that went quick (4-5 months total) so I have hope. -
My husband and I were together for years when we filed for K1 but never take pictures of anything. We do not believe it to be important. We sent in 1 together and 1 from a family dinner with my parents and brothers and that was it. I mainly provided other evidence, in our case proof he had been registered and living at my place in The Netherlands for all those years and our joint tax filings. So if you have enough evidence that the two of you have been together and have a real relationship, there is no reason to worry.

P.S. I do agree on this part. But overall, he tore Walz a new one in a very sophisticated manner. Exactly the things liberal women hate about Trump, they should love about Vance. At the very least he might have convinced the undecided, although I can't think of why on earth anyone could be undecided in this election. It's literally a choice between The United States and the Bolsheviks. It should be an easy choice, regardless of your opinion on Trump or his mean tweets.

I personally agree, but it was the smart move IMO. I am as conservative as it gets, but I know a LOT of liberals (being from The Netherlands) and I think he was very likeable and reasonable to young, educated liberal women. A group that votes overwhelmingly Harris because the common sense was slapped out of them in school and college. I think he did great on that issue, even though I think abortion should be banned everywhere with a few exceptions. What I had hoped he would have said was that abortion these days is 98% 'convenience' by women who don't want to take birth control and can't keep their legs together. The other 2% is rape, incest and life of the mother which is already the exception Trump agrees on. Walz was only pulling heart strings and ignored that 98% is just convenience abortions (the 'no money', 'my career is more important', 'broke up with my baby daddy', 'I am just a hoe that is proud to have had 26 abortions' types). That is what I wished he had explained because I am sure most people do not realize that.

It seems relevant since the OP in that thread arrived with a K1 and a health issue and had a annotation on visa, as I told OP here they may get instead of denial.
-
Check this thread/document in the post. I believe you might find answers in there.

As far as I know it will not cause a denial, but he might get a note on his Visa that he needs further check-up upon arrival at the POE.

Online Utah marriage
Nous Eb replied to I. Jones's topic in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures
We did it, just for fun because my parents couldn't be here so we want to have a wedding still. I am in the process for AOS. Difference is that I came on a K1 visa and we got married online but we were physically in the same room. From what I read here Utah marriage is fine as a proxy marriage as long as you can prove you have consumated the marriage, so have met in person AFTER getting married. -
It's huge. People are afraid or too annoyed to publicly state they are Trump supporters. Either their handful of liberal neighbors will torment them, or some ** that works for the city drives by and notes your address in the category 'property tax up next year because Trump supporter'. Also, people are sick and tired of having to get into heated discussions with people and are frustrated trying to explain why the country is turning into communist China. So they don't say much. The town I live in is red, the whole county is red. Everyone keeps quiet because the hatred from the hardcore democrats is real and people don't have the patience to deal with it anymore. I posted in a group for my county that I just moved here and was looking for people who would like to go on hikes and knew a good denominational Bible group. I got a private message from one of the dems living here, trying to get me to her church: It's funny how they automatically think immigrants are liberals. I replied that I might be scarier than her neighbors and that I loved this place and LOVE Trump. And she had just sent a friend request that I accepted so you can imagine she is still thinking about how she can get rid of me in a polite manner, HAHAHA. But that is how dems think about their conservative neighbors which is why the scared majority won't speak up other than casting their ballot on November 5th. Interesting though was Virginia. First day of early voting the republican turnout was huge, the democrat less than half that. That is an interesting sign, because usually it's the dems who vote early en masse.
