  1. Haha you sound like my sister from another mister! That is exactly what I do in cases like this.
  2. This happened in MI with the Slotkin/Rogers race as well. There has been a lot of cheating going on. There is no one who will ever convince me that Kamala Harris received over 72 million votes and that Trump barely got more than 4 years ago. They need to look at every state very closely!
  3. This HAS TO BE a troll. I'll investigate. There is no way soy boys have biceps. Oh that was easy! Yes, indeed a troll. Video is longer: https://www.msn.com/en-in/news/world/comedian-alex-strenger-trolls-white-dudes-for-harris-at-austin-council-meeting-musk-reacts/vi-AA1tN5jg
  4. I never got that back, weird. I will send you!
  5. Well they must have updated that after getting mine 🤣🤣🤣
  6. I don't think there are that many, they are just so loud and crazy that it's overwhelming and it seems like it's many. Mark Dice had amazing compilations, I will post!
  7. Every day I see more ridiculous posts over what Trump will and will not do that are 100% made up by the legacy media. Trump is NOT anti-gay. In fact, he is more liberal on that topic than most conservatives. Unless you have children under 18 and you want to but them on hormone blockers of give them gender 'reaffirming' surgery, you have nothing to worry about. Trump's 2017 executive order Promoting Free Speech and Religious Liberty reinforced that federal law must respect conscience-based objections to comply with the First Amendment. That means that if a Christian baker declines to make your wedding cake, he has that right to do so if he feels that goes against his religious beliefs. You can easily go to a different baker as the vast majority will have no issues making that cake. Your right to marry does not mean that the baker's right to freedom of speech and religious liberty is off the table. His rights are just as valid as yours. If you want people to respect your way of life, you will have to return the favor. The other order bans transgender people from the military. And rightfully so. The whole transgender thing these days is insane. The military needs people who are strong both physically and mentally. I am even more conservative and am of the opinion that women should not have certain combat roles unless they can pass the same training and test as the males. The military is no joke although these days it surely looks like one. Now this term I certainly hope he will ban the mutilation of children since it is absolute horrifying what is happening today with woke parents transitioning their sons because they touched a barbie doll or their daughters because the wanted to play with a toy car o wear a blue t-shirt. It is out of control and lives are being ruined. Years ago Trump has said he would like to see Obergefell v. Hodges overturned. I am not sure he still stands by that, but I agree with him. These types of things should be handles by the states. Conservative states should not be forced to perform gay marriages when it goes against the beliefs of most residents of that state. Smaller states need to be protected and not be forced by the highly populated liberal states like California. It's the exact same as Roe v Wade being sent back to the states. Let those states decide for themselves. Trump doesn't care if your gay or straight, he just doesn't want the LGBTQ+ community to rule the whole country and make decisions for other people. The insane reactions I have seen from people is scary! Some are saying they will kill themselves based on 100% misinformation and stuff taken out of context. Women crying as if the world just ended because their 'rights will be taken away' (read: they should stop using abortion as their birth control).... I am in awe with what I see. Extreme brainwashing at work. Trump just appointed the first female Chief of Staff and appointed openly gay Richard Grennell in his first term as both ambassador to Germany and Acting Director of National Intelligence who then did this: https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/national-security/trump-administration-launches-global-effort-end-criminalization-homosexuality-n973081 People need to take a chill pill. I would have thought this TDS would be less this time because Trump literally already served a full term and everyone is still alive to tell.
  8. I have not seen state related forums but please move if there are and I missed it. I was wondering if there are people in Michigan who moved here and would like it to make something like a Michigan WhatsApp group to help each other out, share MI travel destinations, information and maybe one day meet up? I'd love to hear experiences from other members who specifically moved to Michigan.
  9. Wow I just read your old posts and I just wanted to say how sorry I am for your loss but how awesome it is that you made it! That is not easy to do! I just arrived here in April and I can't imagine losing my husband so quickly and having to figure everything out to stay here. Congratulations on that achievement, I bet he would be very proud! I also loved the story of him standing up to hold you one more time, I cried my eyes out. But what a great memory. Some people spend a lifetime together never feeling that much love. Good luck on becoming a USC! Where in MI are you?
  10. The police is terrible in The Netherlands, and got even worse after many of the good ones left in the Corona period because they did not agree with the way protesters were treated. I have to dig deep into my memory to remember when the police was actually fair and decent. Of course there are good ones, but way too many of them are quitting or are thinking about it. The riots in Amsterdam were soccer riots. There are soccer riots on a regular basis in The Netherlands with lots and lots of violence and vandalism, it has been a problem for years. Besides this, Amsterdam has a mayor who is completely incompetent and has no idea what on earth she is doing. She is too concerned with DEI hires and climate change BS to run the biggest city in The Netherlands. They knew this was going south days upfront and they were ill prepared. Besides all that, there is a growing problem in The Netherlands with Muslim immigrants causing riots in the cities and law enforcement not doing anything because they either want to be politically correct or they are afraid of the mobs. The so called 'Mocro (Moroccan) Mafia' is no joke in The Netherlands. As a Dutch person I am a bit irritated that this is world news because it's Jewish people who are being attacked so it's antisemitism (with references to Anne Frank and ridiculously being compared to Kristallnacht like Nancy Pelosi and Kamala Harris dared to compare J6 to 9/11), but all the Dutch people who have been attacked (elderly being robbed, stores being robbed, home invasions and burglaries, women and girls being assaulted and raped or pulled into the sex trafficking industry by lover boys) are mostly being ignored and those who do speak up about it are being portrayed as racists. Crime is skyrocketing, my old town is holding a crazy amount of immigrants who have no respect for the Dutch or the Dutch culture at all. Police does nothing because 'racism'. But if you're Dutch and you are protesting corona masks they kick you to the ground until you're bleeding and then send their K9 your way. So I absolutely do not condone what happened recently in Amsterdam, but to me the media just saw an opportunity to claim more antisemitism for the race-baiting 'divide and conquer' bingo card of 2024 while they completely ignore the other problems. I surely do not want to generalize because clearly not all Muslims are like that. I know many of them who are absolutely lovely an hard working people who love The Netherlands. But that doesn't mean there is no problem with certain Muslim communities. And the media is very good at avoiding the deeper lying issue while headlining that 'Antisemitism is on the rise'. As if there EVER was a time we all remember where Muslims and Jews sat around the fireplace together singing kumbaya. The hatred goes both ways, but you're not allowed to say that.
  11. Huh? That would be strange to be most important considering you don't know your A-number yet when you come in on a K-1 visa. I only learned my A-number when I received the NOA's for my forms. @Rachel n Tyler file everything in 1 envelope, use tabs and a cover letters and paper clips and anything else that would make your application a breeze for the USCIS officer to get through. I had covers for every separate form I filed, even for the envelopes with the personal checks. These covers were numbered and had a short list of what was included after that tab and how many pages it contained per form. Those numbered covers had a cover themselves right after my cover letter that stated all the numbers and description as a table of contents. In my OCD head that makes it easy for the officer to find documents and it certainly made it easier for me to make sure I had it all complete. Let me know when that doesn't make sense, I can send you the covers through WhatsApp. Also make sure you make a 1-on-one copy of what you send out in your package so you always know exactly what they have received.
  12. I wanted to reply to a thread in here from a Japanese person wanting to move to Europe but that thread is over a year old so I decided to just open a new one because I couldn't find anything about it through the search and some people might be interested! I moved to the US from the Netherlands but before that I filed for a resident permit for my American husband in The Netherlands and 2 extensions (nearly 10 years total). The permit we got is literally the easiest way to move to Europe but it has its cons! But depending on your situation it might just be exactly what will work for you, it worked for us! You can easily move to The Netherlands through the DAFT (Dutch American Friendship Treaty) or the DJTA (Dutch Japanese Trade Agreement). If you meet all the requirements your visa will NOT be denied and you can start your life in The Netherlands pretty quickly. But it has the downside that you need to provide for yourself either with your savings or with the revenue of the business you will set up there. In our case my husband had enough savings and I worked. I just couldn't file for a family based permit back then because I did not meet the income threshold back then, so this was the best option for the initial permit and the 1st extension, we changed it to family based with the second extension when I was financially stable. This process is perfect if you are an entrepreneur and would love to start your business in Europe. Unlike The United States, you do not have to invest a lot. All you need to invest is 4500 euros and keep that in your bank account, should never get under!! If you are already making money now and you can work from anywhere in the world, all you would have to do is set it all up and move your income to the Netherlands and you're set. You can file for Dutch citizenship after 5 years. Be aware though (certainly as an American, not sure about Japanese) that you might not appreciate the income tax rate in The Netherlands or other costs of living! I am just explaining the possibility for those who would like to move to Europe (The Netherlands in this case). Below some links with information. Once in The Netherlands you can freely move and stay up to 90 days per 180 days in any of the Shengen countries: https://ind.nl/en/travelling-within-the-schengen-area-with-a-residence-permit-or-visa So it's financially not for everyone. It is an expensive permit (was around 1275 euros back in 2013, not sure how much it is now but probably close to 1500 euros) plus the costs for your business startup (won't break the bank but will add up to the rest), housing costs and the 4500 (approx. $4800) you will have to let sit in your bank account for all the years you are there on that particular permit without being able to touch it. You will not be able to get any government benefits and you are not able to work, except in your own business. So 'easy' is maybe not the right word, but for those with loved ones in Europe who are inadmissible to the USA or can not move to the USA (yet) for other reasons, and might not meet the income threshold (yet) for a family based permit this might be a way to be together. Or for those who are born entrepreneurs and are confident that they can build something to support themselves, it is a great option. I am posting it because this option is not promoted (at least not when we started the process), you have to know about it because someone told you. So here you go. Some information from the IND (Dutch USCIS) website: Requirements of the Dutch-American Friendship Treaty or Dutch-Japanese Trade Treaty Do you want to call on the Dutch-American Friendship Treaty or Dutch-Japanese Trade Treaty? These requirements apply: You meet the general requirements that apply to everyone. You have the nationality of United States of America (US) or Japan. One of these situations applies to you. You trade between the Netherlands and the United States of America or Japan. You develop and lead the business operations of a business in the Netherlands. This means that one of these situations applies to you. You represent a US or Japanese business and have a key position (very important position) at that business. You practise an independent profession. This does not apply if you work for or on behalf of the government or in the healthcare sector. You invest a lot of money (substantial capital) in your business. The level of this sum depends on the form of your business. For most forms, the IND requires a minimum investment of €4,500. See the rules on substantial capital investment (only available in Dutch). How we process your application per April 2024 Are you making a first-time application based on a treaty? Register with the Chamber of Commerce within 6 months after you received your residence permit. If you do not do this, the IND may revoke your permit. Are you applying for an extension of your residence permit based on a treaty? The IND requires annual accounts of you and a balance sheet or income statement. This is to check if the company has been active and if the invested capital remained in the business. https://ind.nl/en/residence-permits/work/residence-permit-self-employed-person#requirements There is some information on sites of immigration lawyers about how you need a business plan and you need to trade between the US - Netherlands or Japan - Netherlands and that it must benefit Dutch culture, but that was not true for us. Unless that has changed (although that info was already floating around back then), this is all not needed. We opened a simple computer business, had no business plan and did not trade between the US and The Netherlands. In fact, we ha a pretty low revenue because for us it was mainly to add enough to my salary and not our only source of income. All we had to show with the extension was a statement by an accountant that the 4500 bucks was always the minimum in the bank account and was never spent. Other than that and a bunch of fresh paperwork, we had no issues getting the second 5-year permit. So do not believe everything you read, if you have an average IQ I am going to assume you will be able to handle this process easily yourself. p.s. I have no idea how it works if you do it as a family! But I am sure there is some info to be found on that. I hope it's useful to someone! I know I was happy back in 2012-2013 that someone told me about it o I am just paying it forward!
  13. No I don't think Biden is going to pardon anyone, because I don't believe he has the power to do it (too long of a story and too crazy for this forum but I 100% believe that). That is why I think Biden made a deal or wants a deal with Trump that Trump will pardon some of crack head's crimes in return for some favors. Like completely derailing Kamala's campaign. Not that there was much to begin with, but we can all see Biden was not of much help by calling most Americans garbage and doing press conferences when Kamala held a rally.
  14. He sounded pretty coherent to me in his last press conference! I despise Joe Biden, don't get me wrong. I have a lot of words for him I am probably not allowed to post on this forum. But I do believe he might have helped Trump to make a deal for his crack head son. That plus he despises Cackling Kamala so it was probably a win-win for Sleepy Joe.
  15. HAHAHAHAHA covering of an ugly sofa! That is both hilarious and absolutely true! I have had my crazy theories about Joe Biden being a double agent for a couple of years now, I think we might see soon if those were true all along.
  16. Amen! The propaganda is a real issue. While independent media is being accused of spreading misinformation, it is actually the legacy media that is literally lying 99% of the time when it comes to Trump and his policies. The most recent example of Trump saying he'd protect women whether they liked it or not was shown in the media as if he was talking about 'reproductive rights' while I literally watched him say that earlier concerning the southern border and the women that were killed by illegal immigrants. How they can get away with it is baffling. The whole abortion thing is being twisted and people do not seem to understand that Roe v Wade was precisely that what they accuse its reversal of: federal mingling in the issue. Now it's back to the states and they will vote on it. If you want to use abortion as your birth control, stay in California, if you are against it, move to Florida. Those few big cities think they are living in a pure democracy, they are not. It's a constitutional republic that protects the individual from the crazy herd. It also protects small states from states like California. It is also why we have an electoral college and not a 'mob rule' election. People REALLY need to cancel cable TV and start listening to different voices.
  17. Thank you, it's baffling how little people understand about the economy, while it's not as hard to understand as they make you believe. Trump added around 150 tariffs dusing his first term, yet the economy boomed, people paid less taxes and had more money in their pockets. Maybe it will also help people to consider what they buy before they buy a bunch of junk they don't need. Another good thing about tariffs is that businesses abroad will be forced to either lower their prices or -better yet- open manufaturing plants in the USA to avoid tariffs, creating jobs in the process. Many companies fled the USA because it wsa financially better to open HQ in other countries causing Americans to lose their jobs while still being able to import their stuff for cheap into the USA. Tariffs end and reverse that. Here is some interesting information on tariffs: https://www.investors.com/news/economy/what-is-a-tariff/ So combine that with Trump's tax cuts for businesses (the importers) and Americans (the consumers) to compensate and low inflation and you have a system that protects American workers and effectively will put more money in everyone's pocket despite what the media is telling you. It will also make sure products are again built to last when built in the USA instead of much of the cheap junk from China. Your purchasing price might be higher but if you only have to buy it once a decade instead of every year, you will save money in the long run. In addition, this term he will remove tax on tips, overtime and social security and even said he wants top get rid of federal income tax. So even IF you will pay for the tariffs, you will still be much better off financially.
  18. Good! That is a good start. It's infuriating to me that illegal aliens could get away with their crime simply by marrying a USC. Not only is it unfair for all of us who are playing (and paying!) by the book, it also makes sure 99% of these marriages will be phony. Great decision, we need more of these!
  19. Wow! I do read they got that overturned (and rightfully so) but that is a good thing to remember!
  20. I don't want to be harsh here but posts like this infuriate me, I can't be the only one thinking that! In April you were asking if you could expedite the process for your then-fiance, a month later you marry a complete different person and now you want to get first in line again because it 'would be nice if she joins the family'....... There are so many people waiting for years who would also find it 'nice' to join their loved ones! You were engaged to someone else a MONTH before you married your current wife and when skimming through the posts it looks like you didn't even meet said wife before you decided to marry her! You reasons are malarky and will 100% be denied. And I wouldn't be surprised if your complete petition would be denied.
