Amen! The propaganda is a real issue. While independent media is being accused of spreading misinformation, it is actually the legacy media that is literally lying 99% of the time when it comes to Trump and his policies. The most recent example of Trump saying he'd protect women whether they liked it or not was shown in the media as if he was talking about 'reproductive rights' while I literally watched him say that earlier concerning the southern border and the women that were killed by illegal immigrants. How they can get away with it is baffling. The whole abortion thing is being twisted and people do not seem to understand that Roe v Wade was precisely that what they accuse its reversal of: federal mingling in the issue. Now it's back to the states and they will vote on it. If you want to use abortion as your birth control, stay in California, if you are against it, move to Florida. Those few big cities think they are living in a pure democracy, they are not. It's a constitutional republic that protects the individual from the crazy herd. It also protects small states from states like California. It is also why we have an electoral college and not a 'mob rule' election. People REALLY need to cancel cable TV and start listening to different voices.

Thank you, it's baffling how little people understand about the economy, while it's not as hard to understand as they make you believe. Trump added around 150 tariffs dusing his first term, yet the economy boomed, people paid less taxes and had more money in their pockets. Maybe it will also help people to consider what they buy before they buy a bunch of junk they don't need. Another good thing about tariffs is that businesses abroad will be forced to either lower their prices or -better yet- open manufaturing plants in the USA to avoid tariffs, creating jobs in the process. Many companies fled the USA because it wsa financially better to open HQ in other countries causing Americans to lose their jobs while still being able to import their stuff for cheap into the USA. Tariffs end and reverse that. Here is some interesting information on tariffs: https://www.investors.com/news/economy/what-is-a-tariff/ So combine that with Trump's tax cuts for businesses (the importers) and Americans (the consumers) to compensate and low inflation and you have a system that protects American workers and effectively will put more money in everyone's pocket despite what the media is telling you. It will also make sure products are again built to last when built in the USA instead of much of the cheap junk from China. Your purchasing price might be higher but if you only have to buy it once a decade instead of every year, you will save money in the long run. In addition, this term he will remove tax on tips, overtime and social security and even said he wants top get rid of federal income tax. So even IF you will pay for the tariffs, you will still be much better off financially.

Good! That is a good start. It's infuriating to me that illegal aliens could get away with their crime simply by marrying a USC. Not only is it unfair for all of us who are playing (and paying!) by the book, it also makes sure 99% of these marriages will be phony. Great decision, we need more of these!

N400 denied due to early filing
Nous Eb replied to Shahrzad's topic in US Citizenship Case Filing and Progress Reports
Wow! I do read they got that overturned (and rightfully so) but that is a good thing to remember! -
I don't want to be harsh here but posts like this infuriate me, I can't be the only one thinking that! In April you were asking if you could expedite the process for your then-fiance, a month later you marry a complete different person and now you want to get first in line again because it 'would be nice if she joins the family'....... There are so many people waiting for years who would also find it 'nice' to join their loved ones! You were engaged to someone else a MONTH before you married your current wife and when skimming through the posts it looks like you didn't even meet said wife before you decided to marry her! You reasons are malarky and will 100% be denied. And I wouldn't be surprised if your complete petition would be denied.

So I just want to congratulate you all with this amazing win! They cheated HARD, there is so much that is extremely fishy, and STILL Trump won so hard they could call it quite early! I cried a little when PA was called. Now it is up to team Maga to make sure this country can never be taken over by communists EVER again. Anyone see Jill Biden vote? Or Joe Biden all of a sudden be completely coherent?

Ahhhh you're here! Welcome! No need to worry, legal immigration is needed for a country like the USA! Certainly now that there will be JOBS JOBS JOBS! It is the illegal immigrants that need to worry. We did it right, we filed the paperwork, we paid the fees so we're good. The only thing is that it might take a bit longer for some to get their Green Card now, as I assume they will start vetting more.

JULY 2024 AOS FILERS
Nous Eb replied to The journey's topic in Adjustment of Status Case Filing and Progress Reports
Nothing for me yet. I filed July 3rd, they received it July 5th, I had my biometrics done September 3rd or 4th and that updated and that is all. Still waiting. I only filed I-485 with request for a social security number and a vaccine waiver, no work permit or advance parole. -
I-601 Time Frames
Nous Eb replied to ws1889's topic in Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)
That is probably not the case for me. I have an AOS vaccine waiver, haven't seen a single one taking that long. Must be in general for the form. -
Interview: binders, yay or nay?
Nous Eb replied to Cranberry_anon's topic in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures
Accordion file for the win! You don't want to use a binder, it will be a hassle. They ask for documents quickly and you want to hand them quickly. Good Luck! -
Not sure why you feel so attacked here. The 'feel better' comment was a little uncalled for. If you post a story like that on a forum you can expect people to warn you now that you are in another relationship with a foreigner from a high fraud country. Maybe I am weird but you and your new girlfriend have only been in a relationship online and only for a few months. To me that would not be enough to risk getting myself into a similar situation. Hence why I said I would make sure to spend time in this relationship before committing to anything. But if you think it's valid to yell at me for that, please be my guest.

Very sorry that happened to you. But instead of worrying about what USCIS might think, I think you should be the one this time to scrutinize this relationship and spend a lot of time together before you get yourself in the same situation. Good luck.

Family/Friends unsupportive
Nous Eb replied to Bunninuts's topic in Moving to the US and Your New Life In America
You assume their political view based on 'F off'? You have no a-holes in England like that? I know you do, I have met some who act just like that when I visited England. Yet my memory of the British is that they are lovely people and very polite. We have a bunch of those a-holes in The Netherlands as well. But just because you had your feelings hurt once or twice (that's life) doesn't mean you can generalize the majority of the American public. Trump's support in the USA is huge, so are you having issues with at least 1 out of 2 people here then? If not, you are generalizing. The only time I felt unwelcome here in the States was when one of my new neighbors thought she had to warn me in a private message about the area I moved to and that the people were scary, kinda like the same rhetoric you are now using. Little did she know she was insulting me and my husband personally. She knew a few minutes later though. I think she thought she might finally have a leftist neighbor. Oh the disappointment! So I am not even a native English speaker and I have zero issues in Trump land here. Maybe it's your own attitude? -
AOS interview
Nous Eb replied to yothisisandrea's topic in Adjustment of Status Case Filing and Progress Reports
I think they pick the biometrics location closest to you. If I will have an interview I will have to go to Detroit, but my biometrics appointment was in Grand Rapids, which is quite a lot closer for me. -

Nous Eb replied to Bunninuts's topic in Moving to the US and Your New Life In America
Better start packing then. I am in a VERY RED Trump-supporting area and people are amazing and very nice. You are in a VERY BLUE city with an Asian, immigrant mayor and you feel unwelcome. Maybe it's the wrong side you're attacking. just saying. -

Nous Eb replied to Bunninuts's topic in Moving to the US and Your New Life In America
Sorry but you really need to educate yourself more on this topic, your comparison with Hitler is not only ridiculous for so many reasons but also very dangerous. I am disgusted by comments like this and I am actually baffled that these types of comments are allowed on this forum. -

Nous Eb replied to Bunninuts's topic in Moving to the US and Your New Life In America
Wow. Just wow. I won't get too much into politics either but this is just absolute BS. As a legal immigrant you should NOT AT ALL feel unwelcome. In fact, Trump marries legal immigrants before he deports them. I really wonder if you hear his own words in context. I am more afraid communists will take over in 3 weeks, then we're all hosed. At the OP: you can't make everyone happy. People who live in Europe have a complete different view of the USA than what is actual reality. The media in The Netherlands was just as biased as it is here but the lack of real Americans there to balance the BS made some of my 'friends' make certain comments as well. I am very into American politics since forever so I was able to explain why their view was uninformed. Some changed their minds, others didn't. But I am not moving here for anyone else, I moved here to be with my husband and to have much better opportunities here. I don't care about anyone's opinion on the matter. I have plenty of opinions on their life choices and I am not voicing those either. You should think about YOUR life first. And if you want to move here, no one should stop you with their political views. I agree, I am baffled at how uninformed people seem to be. -
I had the same, my petition approval was extended without me doing anything other than sending in my DS-160 and make an appointment for my interview. I believe I had to send in some stuff also (short memory not working right at the moment I guess) but your fiancé should also have had a letter from the embassy. My USC husband got an email that had instructions also. Did you get any of that?

Europe is not a smart move. In the Netherlands it's bad, so much crime due to the immigrants who claim to be refugees (many coming from countries which are safe but they get lots of money and housing so they come anyway and just sit out their procedure) so real refugees will get the same treatment from most of the public since no one knows who's genuine and who's faking it. I would stay in Turkey honestly (even if it's just for the food and the weather LOL).

I have seen multiple allegations now. But honestly the die hard leftists don't care, they will vote for them anyway because they want to keep using abortion as birth control. The rest is already not voting for them. It just depends on how much they will be able to steal. I thought it was interesting Trump rallied in CA, that means he thinks he can win it.
