  1. Alright friends, we're done! The wife received her passport today with the IR1 stamped. Crossing this weekend! Not sure how long things take, but by my analysis, it seems cases have been moving more than in the past. Best of luck for everyone in this process! AP since Nov 9, 2023, passport/medical request April 24, 2024, Visa/Passport in hand May 15, 2024. We got the "issued" Monday May 13, 2024, so it took about 2 days to receive. No DS-5535, just asked for CV. Likely a TAL hit. IR1 shows "clearance received April 23, 2024".
  2. One more update (will do one more before signing off lol): Our case says "issued" today! Marks 22 total updates since starting AP, and we're waiting to see when we get the tracking number and all. Hoping to get the passport back shortly this week, so we can plan the crossing this weekend Was in AP since Nov 9, 2023.
  3. Feb 2 (unsolicited), Feb 5, Feb 12, Mar 14, Mar 20 (unsolicited), Mar 21 (unsolicited), Apr 8 (unsolicited), Apr 15 (unsolicited), Apr 23 (unsolicited), Apr 24 (unsolicited) - also when we got the email to do medical and send passport. The solicited changes were due to inquiries.
  4. You'll get an email soon, it seems to be the pattern - was the same for us too. At most a week or two is my guess? But again, disclaimer, everyone is different..
  5. Quick update to anyone interested.. We sent the passport and the consulate should have received it last week on Tuesday. The medical results are taking a while here in Ontario - seems the public health responsible for returning bloodwork results is backed up. It's been over a week since we've been waiting for those results. In the meantime, our case last updated date has not changed, not once since getting the email. We assume it'll update once the medical is sent and they finally take the passport from the mail room or something. Just hoping things continue moving because it's just been delay after delay lol
  6. I've been tracking cases in and around my case's numerical range, and going back from Mar 2023 to July 2023 in case created ranges. Many over the last week or so have gotten good news, and things are moving positively generally.
  7. So happy for you!! Congrats! We had sent the passport to their old address (but seems to have been mail forwarded to their new one), delivered this past Tuesday to the consulate. Still waiting on medical results to be sent to them. Hopefully it moves fast for us and anyone else waiting/in AP. I've noticed A LOT of approvals/updates on cases I've been tracking randomly on the side
  8. Yeah we sent it today. Didn't realize address changed, but I assume they have mail forwarding set up anyway. And yeah the Canada post clerk told us we need a QR code or to pay, so just paid. I guess AIS hasn't updated with a QR code or something, oh well.
  9. We just sent to the 955 one. I suspect they added a new mail room, probably getting flooded with letters or things ramping up and they need the file space.
  10. Speaking of - @Daft_Cat have you gotten the passport back yet? Trying to get an idea of how long when everything is sent that they send it back to you.. The spreadsheet seems all over the place.
  11. So my spouse got an email from the usvisainfo email saying the consulate needs so and so. And then we got a reply to an email I sent on March 28 with the same message in that other email. So it wasn't a new email necessarily, just weird. But can confirm if they contact you to ask for it the case last updated changes.
  12. Correct - we were only asked for a CV. Suspicion is a TAL thing, and thus an SAO Mantis check.
  13. We had an update yesterday and sure enough another today with an email from the consulate to redo medical and send the passport (and 2 passport photos) 😭😭😭 There is hope! The pattern of more regular updates leading to an email from the consulate seems to be legit.
