I met my husband online, and at first I did not believe that he would be able to woo me from such a great distance. But as he always says, God brought us together. We spoke daily on the phone and via IM, and then he proposed marriage. At first I did not believe him, but as time went on, I found that his love for me was genuine. I traveled to Nigeria in August 2007, and finally embraced my love. A week later we were married. Our plans for a first year had a bit of an upset, we had wanted to file for his visa there in Nigeria, but we continued to feel pressed by others, that the process would go smoother if I returned stateside and started the process here. We filed in October 2007, received our NOA1 in January 2008, and now we are waiting.....anxiously waiting.
