Hi- I am also in a similar situation. My parents have received an Immigrant Visa Interview letter from the Mumbai consulate. Therefore, I don't need to schedule an interview again. Please point me to the specific form/link for BIOMETRIC SCHEDULING. Thanks in Advance.

Hi All, My parents have received Immigrant Visa Interview Details from the Mumbai Consulate. I am not clear as to how I need to schedule a BIOMETRIC appointment for them. Based on my research it asks to go to https://www.ustraveldocs.com/ and register/Apply for VISA/Complete DS 260 Form etc.. However, I have already gone through the process of applying for the vida, completed DS260 Etc.. All I need to do is schedule for BIOMETRC Appointment and a MEDICAL Appointment. If someone can please help me. Thanks.

Hello All, The NVC process for my parent is complete. We received an email stating. NVC will work with the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General in MUMBAI (BOMBAY), IND to schedule an interview appointment for you. If anyone can help me with information as to how long it will take to receive a letter and what could be the expected date of the Interview? Lastly, after the Interview, how long will it take to obtain documents so they can travel to the USA officially? Thanks in Advance

Thanks for your response. Would you know if this indicates that it will take 14 months to get the petition approved? And then it will require additional time for Interviews, Medical, etc... OR this is the end-to-end timing to have them come to the United States.

I filed Petition I 130 for my parents in March 2023 and still haven't received any approval from USCIS or the next steps. On the USCIS site, when I check the status it says "Your case is taking longer than expected to process. You will be notified if you need to take any action." Can someone please help me understand how long it usually takes to get through the process? Is there anywhere I can check what's the latest and when I can expect the petition to be approved, case to be submitted for review, medical, etc... Please help.
