  1. Thanks for the reply! Do you mean look through our i-864 and make sure nothing else is missing since the RFE is generic? Do we only need to send what's missing or a whole new i-864 form and supporting documents?
  2. Hello, we submitted i-130/i-485 concurrently for f1 student a bit ago. We just got RFE'd and it's saying they were unable to determine if the petitioning sponsor is qualified. I'm a bit unsure from the letter if they want us to submit another fully completed I-864 or if they just want the federal tax return, which looking at our application again we did forget to include. Would anyone be able to provide advice on what I should exactly send? It seems like we just need to send the tax return but the letter is worded a bit hard to be sure if a new form is only needed if we need to add a joint sponsor. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  3. Hello! I'm currently working to complete the I-130 + I-485 and it looks like for my korean spouse, we needed the basic certificate and family relations certificate. We went to the nearest Korea Consulate and retrieved the certified copies. However, it looks like the copies used the Korean standard of A4 paper, which is 8.27 x 11.69 inches and not what the USCIS guidelines accept. According to the filing form guidelines, all supporting documents must be 8.5 X 11. I'm thinking about just scanning and copying the forms onto standard paper and submitting that instead. Does anyone know if that's okay? We've also heard that sometimes the USCIS doesn't even accept the certified copy from Korea consulates and wants the "original" copy straight from Korea. Any advice or suggestions from anyone on this would be greatly appreciated! Really looking to get this right on the first submission!
