    Thanks @appleblossom I've filled in my timeline ... I've seen that the IV official website scheduling tool says interviews are being scheduled with DQs from May 25, but we were DQ'd on May 19 and we haven't heard anything yet. Does the IV tool mean that while interviews are scheduled, the letters might not have been sent out yet?

    Thanks @LHK we are still waiting. I’ve not seen any more interview letters released since May 14. Do you mind if I ask what time of day you received your interview appointment email?

    Hi all, is anyone able to tell me when the London embassy will next issue IR1 interview appointments? From what I understand, they only release the appointments once a month? We were DQ'd on May 19. Many thanks

    The only thing is, I don’t think these timelines from NVC are that accurate. Our welcome letter came in only three days, yet the website timelines suggested it could take two weeks

    We got the I-130 approval last Saturday. How long until we receive the NVC welcome letter? I see the official site processing times say it is currently creating cases for April 7 (three weeks ago) but is that accurate?

    Hi all, my I-130 approval notice included a 9-digit A-number. Do I use this for the A-number in the DS-260? And for the question whether the DHS has ever issued me an alien registration number, do I tick yes? This A-number is what that is?

    Ok thanks all. Still, if California is currently approving one person’s late-December petition, I guess there’s a chance they’ll approve mine too. It gives some hope!

    Hi, are the VJ processing times accurate? Meaning are people who filed IR1 in late December actually being approved at California/Vermont now?

    Hi all, a strange one but perhaps someone can help: I have a B2 tourist visa. If I was to travel to the US and while at my relatives’ home, my brother-in-law hands me his gun for me to shoot a couple of rounds, is that allowed? Or are tourist visa holders not allowed to use firearms even if it’s in a private yard?

    Hi all, I logged in to USCIS to check the status of my I-130 petition but after logging in, it's now asking for an online access code as well as my receipt number? However, I don't currently have an online access code. Is this a new site update? Will they be sending these codes out?

    Hi all, My USC wife and I submitted the I-130 two weeks ago, on February 9. There is now a 'myProgress' tab in our USCIS account which says the estimated time until a decision is made will be "2 months". Is this likely to change again? All the research I've done, it's supposed to actually take about 12 months. Thanks for your advice.

    Thanks all. I should have clarified that we are both in the UK and my USC wife works for a UK company, and she only files the standard 1040. I know June is our IRS deadline but if we haven't heard from the NVC by January 2025, we should file as soon as the IRS starts accepting 2024 returns in the new year?

    My partner and I just filed I-130. We understand it will take one year to process. If the NVC send request for documents in January 2025, is 2024 the latest tax year transcript required for the affidavit of support? Therefore, we would need to file the 2024 tax return with IRS at the start of 2025? Or, since it’s so early in the year, will 2023 count as the latest tax year?

    Ok, thanks for your help. That's good to know. We'll be applying through London - not sure what their record is on liquid assets? I'll prep someone just in case when the time comes.
