  1. I did not upload any passport photos to the NVC.
  2. Yes, it was around 10:30 am when I submitted the last document which was the police report. However, I had been having technical issues with the website the week prior and I kept contacting the NVC to make sure everything was being submitted on their end. I was especially having issues with the Visa application and they would do something on their end to open it back up. So I believe, they must have reviewed my documents as I sent them in to confirm that they had successfully received them.
  3. I submitted all my items Monday July 22, and just received the documentarily qualified email this morning.
  4. I'm a US citizen visiting my husband in Nigeria who is the beneficiary. I was helping him with the NVC process while I am over here.
  5. Thank you @Wolle I hope your i130 is approved soon. The waiting is awful and Congress needs to fix it. Thank you @Wolle I hope your i130 is approved soon. The waiting is awful and Congress needs to fix it.
  6. I was finally able to get all of my husband's documents submitted to NVC. I am glad that part is over. The NVC website is very glitchy though. I would have to try multiple times to upload stuff and sometimes it would kick me off. But I am glad I got that done because I leave for the US on Thursday and I did not want to leave with that not accomplished.
  7. Okay, his information was forwarded to Umuahia for approval. I did see the POSSAP website on his phone.
  8. My husband said no they don't have state CID in Aba. That they forwarded his information to Umuahia.
  9. I'm waiting on Nigerian police certificate, my husband went to the police station in Aba and got fingerprinted yesterday. Everything else is complete. Hopefully it will come to his email today so I can submit it and then I will be finished this step.
  10. Also, what I noticed that there are so many technical glitches with the NVC site. I contacted them about it. I was able to pay my fees without a problem when I first got the welcome letter on July 8 (Monday). Things were great logging in to the site for the rest of the week. Friday comes July 12 and I was locked out of the site for 4 whole days with an "application error" message. I contacted the site and they responded that they have been having technical difficulties and it is an ongoing situation that they are aware of. I was finally able to log on July 16 and begin the application. However, this morning I logged in to continue working on the application and when I clicked "next" and went back to the sign in page which took me to more error messages. It is so frustrating. USCIS site did not give me any problems or glitches. I call on the government to pour more resources into this department. There is no excuse. It just delays the process when you run into so many technical difficulties trying to fill out an application. People's lives are hanging in the balance.
  11. I understand your sentiment. I don't like the fact that it seems that illegal immigration took precedence over legal immigration. It's not fair and the whole immigration system needs to be changed. It should take no more than 3 months to legally immigrate to this country from start to finish. There's a lot of work that needs to be done.
  12. I paid my fees on Monday and I am still showing "In Progress" (this is the 4th day). I'm hoping the applications will open up on today.
  13. I just received the Welcome Email from the National Visa Center this morning. It took exactly 1 week after receiving the I-130 form approval. I will make sure I update my timeline with this information.
  14. Try contacting your Senator. I have done that and it was helpful.
  15. Wow, the approval time of 14 months presently, compared to just 10 months in September is such a dramatic increase.
  16. I was just approved on today. May 24, 2023 priority date.
  17. May 24, 2023 PD, still waiting. Hope to receive an approval very soon.
  18. Hello all, this is my first post. I filed May 24th online. The estimated counter told me 13 months, than 8 months (a few days later). The 8 months have passed and now the counter displays, "this case is taking longer than expected". My case was in Texas but transferred to Potomac. I have no idea when it transferred, because I did not receive notification. I found out about the transfer when I called USCIS to inquire about my case.
