Guys, I finally got approved today. PD May 24, 2023, approved August 14, 2024…. Now unto the next step with NVC. You guys kept me sane through this process, thank you! 

You need to pay attention to it properly! Make sure you understand what exactly they need and also when uploading in the Additional documents section make sure you pick the right option that represents what you are uploading.

Just got our I-130 approved today after getting an RFE (our NOA1 was May 23, 2023). RFE was on June 12 and it took us quite a bit of time to jump through hoops with the birth certificate issuing authority to write us a letter stating that there was no history of a name change. Submitted our RFE response on July 3. Looking forward to the next steps!

When was she DQ’ed? ‘cause August 2023 DQ are the ones waiting for IL now, they’re way past March 2023. So if anything send a case inquiry to NVC.

Submitted docs to NVC on 11/Jul/2024, few docs rejected as I mentioned on earlier posts and received the information on 18/Jul. Resubmitted docs on 23/Jul. Accepted and DQ today on 29/Jul

What time of the day did you submit it please? Was it in the morning?

I submitted all my items Monday July 22, and just received the documentarily qualified email this morning.  

I would like to be so far……. Hope for mid August for i130 approval……. This waiting is just awful 😢

I was finally able to get all of my husband's documents submitted to NVC.  I am glad that part is over.  The NVC website is very glitchy though.  I would have to try multiple times to upload stuff and sometimes it would kick me off.  But I am glad I got that done because I leave for the US on Thursday and I did not want to leave with that not accomplished. 

For the birth certificate - 
 
Incorrect Format: The certificate may not meet the required format or standards (e.g., it should be an official document with proper seals and signatures). Incomplete Information: Missing information such as full names, dates, places of birth, or parent details. Illegibility: The document might be unclear or unreadable. Translation Issues: If the document is not in English, the translation must be certified and accurate.

Please check very well, for the fact they said something is missing means something is... kindly check well.
If you submit today, you should be DQ'D by Monday or before Friday

I mean my friends submitted the same certificates but their names and dates of birth are different from me, obviously. Otherwise everything is the same. Theirs was accepted,  mine was rejected

and for the Police Certificate - 
 
Outdated: The certificate must be recent, typically issued within the last 6 months. Incorrect Authority: It must be obtained from the correct authority (e.g., local police station, Passport Office, or online portal for Indian nationals). Incomplete Information: Missing details such as full names, address, period of stay, or clearance statement.

For the birth certificate -

Finally with a PD of 5/6/2023 - we have a CEAC Visa Status of "Issued".  I will bring my wife to the USA from Thailand on August 19.  I wish all of you May 23 folks the very best!
