    I did the same thing for my wife at the Toronto consulate early August 2023. Similar timeline but we didn’t submit the DS-260 until November. We received an interview letter early December and had the interview at the beginning of February. Something definitely seems off with your application at Montreal. They should have processed that already and sent you an interview letter long ago. Is there something they are waiting for you to submit?

    Wanted to check in to see if anyone can share their experience with how this submission normally progresses. Does the application status change before an officer reaches out for interview request? Thanks a lot for any insight.

    Hey all, I submitted an N-600K for my son on October 10, 2023. I requested the 2 Mill St, Lawrence, MA field office. They currently appear to have a 5.5 month processing time for 80% of N-600K’s. Since submitting, the case status has remained at “Case Was Received And A Receipt Notice Was Sent”. I received the receipt in the mail a couple weeks after submitting the form. How long does it typically take for the status to change? Or does it not change before the field office eventually reaches out for the interview? Thanks for any help. George
