  1. Ok thanks guys you re awesome. Everything is clear so far. If i have any other question i will ask.
  2. But if she get accepted for rentry permit i guess she is safe to leave US to finish her phd then return to US permanently no ? she will do her best, openin bank account settle herself there then return to finish her stuff in lebanon before she go back for good. We can try to get proof that she will return to US and live there no ?
  3. She needs like one semester at least (6 months approx). She entered us for one week and left to continue her phd.
  4. If she will get denied she will stay there anyway. No other choice
  5. Yes m, “she” is my wife. And she will go like one month to do the biometrics of re-entry permit then she will return back to lebanon to finish her ohd then she will return to US permanently
  6. Ok thanks for the replies guys. We will see how it goes next week at the cbp once she arrives. Another question, we definetly need a sponsor. If she cant be my sponsor for this moment can we request a third party to sponsor me? She works anyway in lebanon and get salaries. Can she be my sponsor with that situation? She will also open a banking account there. What about getting her salaries and send money to that banking account to put moeny and make our ties to US stronger . What about that? Any suggestion ?
  7. My only question is does re-entry permit affects the spouse visa ? Or it can be done in parallel. And do you suggest to let her file for spoise visa while she is there or she can do it ourside US. And in addition we have war in lebanon does it make it easier and faster ?
  8. No she is going back before one year and she will apply it there. She is going to travel to US next week, her parents are already there and she has a home
  9. My wife is under f33, we got married from 2 months and now we re living in lebanon And we have been like 6 years together and we have already proof for it
  10. Guys the history post was about my wife getting greencard process. She succeeded and got it last year january. Now its my turn to file for it.
  11. No just my wife has greencard, im still without it and still didnt file for it so im just asking to see if we can proceed with my papers even if she is filing for re-entry permit.
  12. Hey guys, i have a question: my wife is a greencard holder and she is filing a re-entry permit to protect her greencard because she has a phd to finish outside USA. As im her husband she wants also to file a spouse visa to get also greencard later. Can she file for a re-entry permit and also a spouse visa at the same time for the reason to not waste our time waiting for my documents to finish once my files are accepted by USCIS ?
  13. We entered the US, the main applicant and myself and changed my address at the cbp at the airport. But i read that the postal service address should be also changed. I dont know if it will be automatically changed. Thats why im asking. And im not living with my sponsor, we are living in a different state. I dont want my papers to go to the sponsor, i want them to sent to me Even if i changed the address at CBP in US ?
  14. After entering the US, is it enough to change the address using the USCIS account and informing the US Postal service in order to have the green card and other papers sent to the new address ? Is there any website that shows my current address information and the previously updated addresses?
  15. Address of getting the greencard. Its a family sponsor immigration
  16. Hey guys i have one question, if my mom is a primary applicant, i can’t change her address from USCIS. When i change it it is rejecting it. I changed for other family members and it worked but my mom as primary applicant didn’t. Is this a rule or it can be fixed?

You've posted this on your profile, not in the forums. So would suggest you ask again on the forums, giving full details (what stage you're at, is it a US address or foreign one, what kind of application, etc) and no doubt somebody will help.

  18. Ok im still confused about the primary applicant thing because i ask an immigration lawyer and he said no need for primary applicant to go first
  19. Strange i asked lawyer and he said that you can now go without primary applicant
  20. Hey guys one quick question, once i arrived at the airport what are the necessary procedure to activate my greencard, is it going to take time? Can someone explain?
  21. Ok i might go on 13 january, the primary applicant might go like 1 february. Well i saw on the internet that the primary applicant should be the first there but is this rule still applicable ?
