  1. We entered the US, the main applicant and myself and changed my address at the cbp at the airport. But i read that the postal service address should be also changed. I dont know if it will be automatically changed. Thats why im asking. And im not living with my sponsor, we are living in a different state. I dont want my papers to go to the sponsor, i want them to sent to me Even if i changed the address at CBP in US ?
  2. After entering the US, is it enough to change the address using the USCIS account and informing the US Postal service in order to have the green card and other papers sent to the new address ? Is there any website that shows my current address information and the previously updated addresses?
  3. Address of getting the greencard. Its a family sponsor immigration
  4. Hey guys i have one question, if my mom is a primary applicant, i can’t change her address from USCIS. When i change it it is rejecting it. I changed for other family members and it worked but my mom as primary applicant didn’t. Is this a rule or it can be fixed?

You've posted this on your profile, not in the forums. So would suggest you ask again on the forums, giving full details (what stage you're at, is it a US address or foreign one, what kind of application, etc) and no doubt somebody will help.

      Oops eorry for that

  6. Ok im still confused about the primary applicant thing because i ask an immigration lawyer and he said no need for primary applicant to go first
  7. Strange i asked lawyer and he said that you can now go without primary applicant
  8. Hey guys one quick question, once i arrived at the airport what are the necessary procedure to activate my greencard, is it going to take time? Can someone explain?
  9. Ok i might go on 13 january, the primary applicant might go like 1 february. Well i saw on the internet that the primary applicant should be the first there but is this rule still applicable ?
  10. Not i didnt mean the sponsor, i meant the principal applicant. There is one principal applicant and the other member of the family. Is it mandatory to all of us go to US at the same time ? Or can we go separately? If the principal applicant is kind of busy right now and will be able to go later, can i travel before him and activate my Greencard ?
  11. Heyy just one question, is it mandatory that the primary applicant be with me when i travel? If he can’t be able to be available with me, is it a problem ?
  12. Hey guys weird question. Can my sponsor cancel my immigrant visa once it is issued and has been put on my passport or it’s too late for him? Can he cause some problems at the airport ?
  13. So they won’t ask the reason why you will not be at your sponsor’s house or state
  14. Ok great! One more question. Can i travel to any state to activate my GC? As i know someone told me that there will be an interview once i arrive at the airport. Is it ok to go anywhere and do it ? ( reminder: my visa immigration type is Family sponsored). Are they gonna ask questions about that if i dont want to travel to my sponsor’s state ?
