  1. My wife did not travel since last year abroad. In the mean time we have filed for her citizenship application June 2024 mentioning that we have a 751 pending. No response to either of those except the reciept notice and waiver of biometrics. Hopefully something soon..
  2. OK. So here is what happened. We requested for an ADIT stamp and these guys did not grant an appointment right away, rather said in a confirmation with a service number that this may not need an appointment and you may get a call or an email to resolve this issue in 3-5 business days. Today we got an email saying that since you have already been issued a reciept extension for 48 months. your request does not warrant an appointment request at that time. So technically it sounds like the 10 year card is valid in it's face value. So we are going to call the uscis contact center and also talk to a reputed attorney to get some more clarity. Not the one who got his degree from a cereal box.
  3. What would the adit stamp say.. that this stamp is valid for travel and entry within a one year period?
  4. Thanks for this incredible piece of advice. We will get this I 551 stamp done asap..
  5. Married on May 2019 to LPR Spouse Filed GC Application for myself on August 2019 Interview on November 2020 - Approval Granted Verbally Recieved GC on December 2020 - Should have been a 2 year card, But got a 10 year card Husband became US Citizen on March 2021. Filed a Petition I-90 Stating the USCIS error on May 2022. Recieved Denial of I-90 Petition on December 2023, With explanation stating that we did not file I-751 Filed I-751 On December 19,2023. Cash Checked Within 3 days. Recieved the reciept notice in Email on December 23rd Stating that they have granted extension for 48 Months and Biometric reuse. Travel Plans this summer, So we will file the N-400 as soon as we finish the travel.
  6. We got an extension letter, reciept notice stating that the validity period has been extended for 48 months.. given the gc is 10 years valid, I'm interpreting this as we will have a decision for you within 4 years..incredibly stupid how uscis works. Atleast now we are a bit relieved.. we also got a biometric reuse meaning we don't have to appear for that..how often does it take for an actual decision? We are thinking of filing n400 at some point next year, if we don't get a decision by then. Thanks to all for their suggestions..
  7. Thanks for the reassurance. Looking to get that soon..
  8. Just an update on this. Uscis has cashed our check today. I'm thinking that is some progress after all.. 😐
  9. On another note our packet has been delivered to the lockbox..
  10. Thanks. My dl is unrestricted. I will file a new ss5 form for the unrestricted card. My dl is unrestricted. But will remove the ssn restriction
  11. Yes, I have a valid DL. The SSN card says the it is valid for work only with DHS authorization. My I-9 verifiaction was done years ago when I go the green card.
  12. We have already relieved him of his services. Should I be worried about my work authoriztion and stay?
  13. Yes. He just asked us to file the i-90 and ignore i-751 since he said that there were cases with 10 year card issued. Regardless it was an error on our side and that's what we explained In the apology letter.
