Hi, my case has already been approved by USCIS, processed by NVC, and sent to Ankara in Türkiye. Only one problem, I don't have a residence permit there.
When I applied for K1 visa I provided all my contact and address information in Türkiye while I was awaiting decision on my residency permit in the country, unfortunately I was denied and I had to move to another country since then, so I'm not even in Türkiye right now. I never had a residency yet since that's what I provided with my K1 application my case is in transit to Ankara.
What should I do, proceed as usual and assume I will be granted the interview with no problems? Will they request I provide a valid residency? Should I contact the embassy myself and let them know about my situation? I would prefer to take the interview in Türkiye due to many difficulties which I'd rather not get into here, but I'm not sure whether that's even possible or if I should be requesting a case transfer to my current country of residence right now. Thank you in advance, I tried researching this problem but I'm really lost right now.
