  1. Thank you for your encouraging words Thats our plan. Though, there is still that fear of USCIS not understanding and make it hard for my case
  2. It’s the job market actually. We both just experienced brutal job search journey as new grad. Thus, we don’t want to potentially go through it two more times in the next 2 years. My husband also wants to stay close with his parents. Thus, the option of temporarily living apart for 2 years seem to be more attractive to us at the moment
  3. Hi all, how are you doing? I have a question regarding I-751, hoping you could help me with I got married to my husband in 03/2022, filed and then got my GC in 04/2023. I started working 2 months ago and recently was offered the job for a big company which is in the industry that I really wanted but would have to relocate to Chicago for 2 years. After negotiating with the manager, he agreed to let me go back home after 2 years. The offer writing was then changed “fully remote after 24 month”. Im currently discussing this with my husband. I really want the job and he supports me. However, since it would be 2 years, we both agree that it would not make sense for him to relocate as well (looking for a job over Chicago then do it again to go back to Texas). In term of evidences, I would say we are quite strong. All of our finances are joint (401k beneficiaries, joint S&P500 with WROS TOD, car title, car/renter/life insurance, joint all bank accounts + credit card). The only lacking area is family. We are same sex couple so only certain members from my and his family know (his mom + my uncle/aunt + my step siblings). His mom does not want to meet me though. We do have 2-4 close friends that fully support us. My lawyer said it would not be a problem as long as we visit offer and keep the boarding pass. However, reading posts from this forum and other (from similar cases of couple physically separated) giving us anxiety. I just wonder if you could share your opinions about my case. We would really appreciate that
