Why havent i heard back from the Embassy?

My son was added on to my visa as my accompany and i was to get his DS-260 form and to send across his documents, which i have sent in since December 1, 2023. i have yet to hear back anything from the embassy. i dont know if im being jumpy, but ive been on filing since 2016 and its been a long wait. is there anyway to email them? ive emailed NVC but they said that its already been past them.
