  1. I'd like for my wife to visit the US. We live in Indonesia and we currently have a cr-1 in process. However we don't plan to live there (in the US) and we still have quite a while to wait before the cr-1 is approved. I'd like to return for a short visit with her in November and am wondering if I should pull the cr-1 since we don't plan to live there and file for a visitor visa. I'm clueless about what to do and would appreciate any advice.
  2. I want to thank everyone who responded to me. I'm disappointed of course but dwelling on it won't make it better. You have all been unanimous that all I can do is withdraw and refile. Can anyone tell me what I should expect when withdrawing and refiling. I recall there were a few questions about if I had ever filed a i-130 before. Any help with what to expect is appreciated.
  3. We did meet but that was before the wedding. We found a lawyer online saying that we could file and meet before we had a hearing so that is what we did. If I withdraw and refile will I get a pause on my i-130 and or any money back? Joe
  4. My wife and I married in an online ceremony recently. I immediately filed for the I-130 and planned my trip to go back and consummate the marriage. But now I'm checking on what will happen next. How long do I have to consummate the marriage? Does anyone have knowledge of what is next. I still have 4 weeks before my next decision according to my I-130 status. Thanks,
